VerdictGene Luen Yang is doing an admirable job with his first story arc so far. Jeff Lemire is a hard act to follow, but Yang is delivering. Yang and Segovia continue to prove that they were the perfect creative team to revitalizes the Terrifics. This arc contains some of the best content featuring this cast in a minute, and between the wacky antics of virtual plagues and the compelling interpersonal dynamics, it's a strong comic that continues a strong arc and sets the stage for lots of awesome things to come. The Terrifics #17 adds another memorable issue into the collection. Who am I kidding, just about everything from this new story arc has been memorable so far. New direction, and no limits to what this team can encounter. One would think the Dark Multiverse would be hitting the ceiling, and then you would be proven wrong after this. Read Full Review

I love the playfulness of this story and Yangs dead-on instincts in handling the characters. Were getting close to the point where its time to wind this arc down, but Yang and Segovia are making this a fun ride. Read Full Review

If I wanted to read the FANTASTIC FOUR, I'd just go read it at Marvel. If I wanted to take slight religious jabs at YAHWEH, His abilities, and His motives, I'd find some Agnostic or Atheist website and read up. But I didn't pick up a comic about a smart man, a stretchy guy, a girl who can phase through things, and a dude who can transform into almost anything to go down some thought experiment on God. I have been a fan of the Terrifics since it launched, but I am not enjoying the title since Yang started writing it. I've been hanging on and hoping for improvement, but I think I may have to drop this one.
For a second I thought this would be a cool angle but then no it’s just an omnicidal computer god, so pedestrian.
This really bores me.
