FYSO have made it clear: They think they're better than every other wrestler in the Deathlyfe. But are they ready for an anything-goes DEATHMATCH? Sun and Steel bring the barbed wire to a final like no other!
And just in case there was concern that Johnson couldn't nail the landing, he throws a series of major twists that don't seem like they can get wrapped up in two issues. Is it too early to start clamoring for a rematch sequel? Read Full Review
Do A Powerbomb is as compelling as ever, and thankfully it still has even more tricks up its sleeve Read Full Review
Words cannot describe how much I love this short series. Great art, great story, fantastic characters. Wrestling fans, rejoice!
Another fantastic issue that shows just how violent wrestling can get. Once again, Johnson's art is absolutely stunning in this issue and he makes every move look so impactful. Johnson is able to expertly blend insane action with emotional stories to show what makes wrestling fans love it, including myself. Lona finding out that her dad is Cobrasun was very well-done and I liked that it played into the match's outcome, in turn giving the heels the unexpected win in the tournament. I'm in love with this miniseries.
The most brutal issue yet, and the bar was set pretty high.

This shit is over the top in the best way possible
I never thought I could love a comic about wrestling, but yet, here I am.
Even though I have seen matches with these objects, it was still intense to see play out. One thing I expected happened and the other I absolutely did not expect. Fucking AWESOME!
This was predictable. Not in a bad way, it's still really cool but not as surprising anymore. I don't really have any problems with the art anymore, it all does a pretty great job at conveying every over the top detail. Some of the lettering and sounds effects get left to die though. Super fun.
