The overall run of Johns work on The Unnamed family of titles has been incredibly ambitious. Johns has been able to carve out a very specific and specifically novel territory for a comic book universe that feels quite fresh and interesting. Its not like Johns is doing anything terribly deep or challenging, but its pretty admirable to see him finding a new niche for a multi-title project. As a sci-fi geek I absolutely lov the story but the the art is page after page of homage to the very best in the industry. I think if you took away the words you could follow and love the story each panel tells. A++++++++++++ JM
Ash Arden has Doctor Molotov locked up. There's a flashback showing how they met. Molotov was looking for Geiger and found her, a very similar case. Ash has Molotov locked up; he needs him for his plan. Molotov warns him that Geiger is dangerous.
Tariq reveals to Nate that they're staying and that Ash's philosophy is calming him down, and he's convinced he needs to control his powers. Geiger apologizes to Junkyard Joe, who managed to bathe Barney without any problems. Geiger believes Junkyard Joe is an angel sent to him by his son Marcus, who was a huge fan of the animated series. Junkyard Joe wants to explain why he's with Geiger, but he can't communicate.
