    Newsarama - Lan Pitts Jun 20, 2012

Saga #4 proves that this book has only really just begun telling its story, and with the pace it's keeping, it is surely one book not to be missed. Vaughan and Staples are quite the duo and bring to you a story of compassion, mystery, enchantment, teenage ghosts, anti-hero freelance mercenaries, and prostitutes that are just heads and legs. Thanks, comics. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - lucstclair Jun 18, 2012

With this issues theme, it has definitely taken a turn for the more adult readers only style, which is not a complaint mind you, but if youre a parent who loves comics and your kids are also into comics, then I think you should be aware of that fact. Having said that, this is Image Comics finest series as every issue just gets better & better. Written by Brian K. Vaughn (Y : The Last Man) & illustrated by Fiona Staple Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Zach Woolf Jun 27, 2012

Saga should not only be on your monthly pull list but also on the top ten selling list every month. Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples are putting together a book that is doing the seemingly impossible by topping itself issue after issue. I could keep on gushing but that would take time away from you reading this brilliant series. 5 out of 5 stars. Go buy it now. Read Full Review

    Bloody Disgusting - theSandman Jun 21, 2012

Vaughan's writing is such a clutch part of making this comic series enjoyable, but pairing it with Staple's artwork makes it unf*cking believable! There are grotesquely hilarious scenes like the one in which Izabel (the ghost with dripping intestines instead of legs) is making baby faces at Hazel. And then there are the questions that this issue left spinning in my head. Will The Will's decision to enter Sextillion without Lying Cat affect him later in the series? What kind of monster is The Will exactly? And of course what happens when Marko really gives up his pacifism and lets 'er rip on that spaceship? Questions like these drive me to pick up the next issue, and with the character development I'm invested in finding out what happens to everyone. "Saga" is truly a great read and ocular pleasure. I can't wait for the next issue! Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Mat 'Inferiorego' Elfring Jun 20, 2012

Saga continues to be the best new title not only out of Image Comics, but out of all companies. On the positive side of things, The Will is a fantastic character who we get a bit more of each month. There's some great backstory about how Marko met his first "wife," and this issue leaves off with our characters possibly going into battle. Read Full Review

The Comic Book Revue - Jay Mattson Jun 24, 2012

I'm continually impressed with the quality of Saga. Vaughan has expressed that the series is heavily influences by Star Wars, and it shows; from the character-driven romance to the look into the seedy underbelly that exists all around the galaxy. Vaughan and Staples are creating one of the best comic book series I've ever read and it just gets better every month. If you're not reading Saga, you should. It's as simple as that. I also must mention the absolutely fantastic letters column, present in every issue, but of particular note here. Remember in issue #2 when BKV included a jokey "reader survey"? Turns out he got a lot of responses. The material is a personable, heartfelt piece of work that legitimately bulks up the value of this book. And yet, it's still priced at $3. I love Saga. If you haven't been reading Saga, you owe it to yourself to catch upimmediately. Brian K. Vaughan andFiona Staplesare proving to be the best creative team in the industry. The two are clearly telling a story, and not just creating a comic. They even hint as much by not calling them issues, but instead chapters. Amazing art and dynamic dialogue have me completely hooked on this series. Read Full Review

"Saga" is a lot of fun, and with each new issue I find myself growing more interested in the title as a long-term, well, saga. This is one of those comics where the only real danger is realizing just how quietly the series has utterly hooked you. Four issues in, we've had four winners from Vaughan and Staples.
