    Avengers #65 continues to show that there isn't a comic as epic today. In one issue, we see the rise of the Avenger Prime. That's at first unbelievable, but once told, you realize it's a natural development of the Avenger's greatest villain. The famous phrase, "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain," is at work here, only in reverse. How incredibly apt and cool. Read Full Review

    Avengers #65 delivers readers the tale of how Avengers Prime came to be who he is. While the artwork and colors were good as usual, the story was very lacking. The origin story of this version of Loki is good on paper, but it wasn't pulled off in its execution. Overall, the comic was not as thrilling or compelling as it could've been. But hopefully the next part of this story will show this Loki in action. Read Full Review

    It will never cease to be a delight to watch Javier Garrn depict Celestials and grand scales of the Marvel mythos, but the framing in The Avengers #65 robs it of any significance while offering more narrative forgotten in the build to this climax. Read Full Review
