Agreed, that's why I held off until just the hardcover with the first 12 issues, since those were the best in the series
ALL DIE YOUNG! The ramp-up to CAP #25 begins!

A perfect Captain America story for this day and age. Read Full Review
Captain America #20(Coats, Quinn) sees previous tropes of national discourse and where Steve Rogers fits into the 21st century return as the series course corrects from the previous arc. Read Full Review
Bob Quinn does a great job with the art. Not much stands out, but the Misty Knight/ Peggy Carter scenes were well done and fun to see play out. Read Full Review
finally no more jason mastersss
jeez was it rlly that hard to get another artist marvel? Especially on one of ur main titles? They finally decided to change artists for the better and while it's not as good as Yu's or Kubert's earlier issues, it's still much better than Masters. This issue also brings together a lot of plot threads that are super interesting and the twist is has me very hooked into reading the next one
Good art. Nice surprises.
Best issue we've had in a while. Looking forward to the next.
This was actually a good issue! Coates had something to say again! And the art wasn't trash! Shame the entire run can't be like this. I bought the first trade of this run for my physical collection, and it is by far one of my most regrettable purchases simply because this run is so turbulent.
" Yeah, i mean... Agatha said it would be a relatively painless death. I'm just trying look on the bright side ! "

This one actually had some meaning and interesting plots throughout. I actually enjoyed cap for the first time in a while. I actually liked the art as well.
Oh, look! Supervillains using a satirical exaggeration of contemporary conservative culture to hide their world-domination schemes! THAT'S NEW!
But salt aside, the plot is in forward motion and the visuals are improving. I'm cautiously slightly optimistic.
Okay maybe I’m taking crazy pills but this one... was actually pretty good?! I don’t know what to do with myself now.
Tolerable
Captain America isnt really too thought provoking and the action sucks. I dont think Coates run will be remembered due to the large loads of dullness. Once we march to issue 25 ill be jumping off this ship. At least the covers make me feel better about spending money on this series..
Coates is mistaking comic books with internet journalism.
