This truly has an "at the end of the world vibe" and I enjoyed it immensely. It's not a deconstruction of tropes but rather an insight into them that I appreciate. Very solid start. The art by Mike Perkins fits the uncanny vibe.

Del Duca and Filardi's art is gorgeous, and Watters' writing makes both Jon and Yara even more interesting than I already found them. Solaris, Jon's sassy cybernetic sun nemesis, is also an awesome villain.

If there's one thing to be nitpicky about, it's just that as a Brazilian there are some language issues in Yara's storyline. One character is named Soasa - a last name that does not more

Not as bad as I had anticipated, but great. The John Stewart story was interesting, and a solid read, but it was hard to catch up to in some places, and it made it frustrating. I wasn't looking forward to the Jessica Stewart but it ended up being my favorite actually, a very solid read. And the Book of Guy was perfect. Guy is annoying and insufferable and it works so well. So not a terrible anthol more

Maybe I'm just not the target audience, but this one really didn't "wow" me. The dialogue was kind of grating in places and the character felt a little one note at times. I was much more fascinated with the world than with Yara to be honest, and that's no way to start. I'll pick up the next one, bc the art is worth the price but I hope it picks up.

The art was some of the worst drawing I've ever seen !!! I think a toddler could've drawn it better while wearing a blindfold. Good lord it was bad. As for the story it was nothing new or fresh but I guess it was just barely passingly okay-ish. Totally forgettable and not worth the added price or of being an annual but it is what it is. If it was possible to return this comic for a refund I so wou more

Don't understand the idea that someone isn't allowed to like art because that's how "some people like to draw". Do you like everything you see, hear and taste because that's how some people like to do it? It's subjuctive and everybody can like or dislike whatever they want!
