I was intirigued by the direction till Patsy got offended by the word Man. I laughed and stopped reading.

A shame since Cantwell seems to have a good voice for Tony but if characters care more about being pc than focusing on the story then ill pass.

It's like every time you respond, you make it even clearer that you were offended by the content. You're perpetuating PC culture even more than this comic has by being so incredibly sensitive to a single sentence. if you care more about being pc than focusing on the merits of the comic then ill pass.

Rinaldi - Sep 19, 2020

@YourGreenMuse I gotta disagree with you. The line your talking to stood out to me as well. I stopped reading for a second and rolled my eyes. Then I finished the comic.

This wasn't as bad as I expected, but it was mostly just set up. My biggest question coming out of this issue is, "Why did Nightwing and Hawkgirl get all Metal'd out?" They presumably came straight from New Apokolips, where they all looked like their usual selves.

Nah it was just an art choice. This literally picks up from Death Metal #3, so it should just follow one after another. Nevertheless, I like their design, its fire.

The Nightwing one is cool. I'm not so sure the Hawkgirl one fits my tastes.

Tomasi/Walker: 6.5/10 Probably the weakest which is a bummer because Tomasi has delivered some pretty solid one shots and two parters while writing Detective Comics. Art was good, and the analysis of each villain and their traps was fun, but the ending felt too rushed and odd.

Bendis/Marquez: 8/10 Bendis and the Bat-Family, as drawn by David Marquez. This a fun little read and it shows more
