A showstopper since its first issue, 'The Nice House on the Lake' heads toward a midseason hiatus with a whole new status quo and a few crucial questions about the motivation of its central character, Walter. Read Full Review
Overall, Nice House On The Lake #6 is a solid issue. However, it may have been better served as the issue coming back from hiatus, rather than being the one it leaves off on. Where this story goes from here will no doubt be twisted and fascinating, and for that, I'm excited. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long. Read Full Review

What a cliffhanger that was. The Nice House on the Lake may just be my favorite book this year.
Incredible work here.
This series just crawls under my skin.
Great mid-finish here, the story didn't develop much on the present side (except for that wtf cliffhanger), but gave a lot of backstory to Walter and Reg's past. All that was great storytelling, mushing in its continuous mistery just leave us craving more... Excellent work from Tynion and Alvaro, lets hope April arrives soon!
Lots of answers but, yet so many more questions. A great chapter of this just absolutely amazing series.
We got some pretty sizable answers as to Walter's purpose, as well as a whole new batch of questions.
How many times has Walter erased everyone's memories? (More times what we've been shown is my guess.) Why was Reg hidden away and trapped? Why was he receiving a transcript of the rest of the group? Why does Reg's release coincide with the first time it's rained?
This has been one of my favorite books of 2021 and the upcoming hiatus is going to be rough.
I'm not feeling this one. I think the characters are boring at best, and kind of annoying at worst. I don't care about Reg. I just want more plot to happen, something I could say for literally everything I'm reading written by Tynion right now.
