Power. Money. Machine. Love. Revolution. The 20th century progressed at a more rapid pace than any other in history but not without help from the shadows. Kev Walker joins CAPTAIN AMERICA: SENTINEL OF LIBERTY writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing to explore the origin of Captain America's newest foe - and what the Outer Circle's next play means for the status of the Winter Soldier.
RATED T+
Walker delivers some beautifully detailed, dark and compelling art throughout the issue. The character designs are fantastic and the visual world of this issue is amazing. Read Full Review
This is a reasonably well done issue for what it is. Though it might be possible for new readers to use the CAPTAIN AMERICA AND THE WINTER SOLDIER SPECIAL #1 as a jumping on point, it reads like an enhancement to the ongoing story in CAPTAIN AMERICA: SENTINEL OF LIBERTY. In that way the narrative is quite effective and further enhanced with high quality art. Read Full Review

I have found this story to be absolutely fascinating! The only thing I didn't like about this book was the fact that it ended. I can't wait for the next chapter!
This issue was basically all set up and exposition, but it was very interesting. If you're reading the Sentinel of Liberty title, this is a must.
Well, I love it. It's an awe-inspiring wad of backstory and worldbuilding, but tempered with a significant bit of forward plot motion. Plus, it's got gobs of style in its script structure and art.
Absolutely required reading for Sentinel of Liberty.
This issue was interesting. For how much info it provided I think it did a great job keeping my invested. I also really liked Bucky’s move at the end. Excited to see what’s next!
