The Champions are done running. The time to stand up and fight is here. But can they win when an entire government is aligned against them? And if they can't....where do the Marvel Universe's next generation of heroes go from here?

Champions #5 is a stunning end to a terrific event. By the end of this issue, the story feels complete. Every part of the creative process is used to make the readers feel. For the first three issues, there is a dread that hangs over every page. In #4, there is relief when the main characters are rescued. And within this final comic, there is hope that works as a brilliant final emotion. The colours and art style make this a terrific event for young adults to enjoy, whilst the heavy themes and subject matter resonate due to always being relevant. There are glimpses into the future in the final pages, showing there is much more to come from the Champions. Read Full Review
Champions #5 wraps up the current Kamala's Law/C.R.A.D.L.E. plot arc, and it does so in a way that is reminiscent of major Marvel moments in history. It's a powerful read, and a visually stunning issue to top it all off. Read Full Review
The Champions continue their fight against the government as the X-Men step in to land a helping hand and to impart some wisdom about how tough the world truly can be. Read Full Review
While I was not a fan of the Outlawed story from the getgo, Eve Ewing does a nice job ending her time on the book. We even get a sneak peek of what is in store coming up from Danny lore, and it looks like a lot of fun coming our way. Read Full Review
While Champions #5 does manage to bring things back to pretty much status quo, it does so by either ignoring things from the rest of the series or by solving them in quick, convenient, and safe ways. Read Full Review
I'm personally looking forward to reading the new status quo being hinted at in the final pages of the issue, but "Outlawed" was just a dud from top to bottom. Read Full Review
A nice and emotional issue that managed to tackle some important topics in a natural and emotional way, perhaps the best from the current run
This was good and the tease at the end actually has me interested for what comes next.
The Champions reunite and use the light of truth to burn off the shadow of corporate perfidy backing Kamala's Law and CRADLE. Roxxon was behind the nastier parts, which explains why the Champions are taking it on head-to-head (with an all-new creative team) in the next arc. This finale ties neat knots in the Outlawed plot-threads. The art looks good. The script could have dug deeper into the characters, but it doesn't make any mistakes. This arc/event was paced a little wonky (blame the pandemic), but overall I think it did a good job capturing the zeitgeist of Generation Z's social conscience.

I feel like I’ve just had a ton of exposition vomited upon me.
