• Just as Stephen started making progress replenishing his armory with alien magic and arcane weapons, he discovers he is far out of his league.
• This realization means dire consequences, not just for Stephen, but for anyone who calls Strange "friend."

One of the best conclusions to the "fresh start" Marvel books. Read Full Review
This feels like the start of a very good and very special run for Doctor Strange: Sorcerer Supreme. Read Full Review
Jesus Saiz delivers some awesome action and detail in the art. It was beautifully rendered and did a great job of complementing the story. I also marveled at the great contrast between the vibrant colors and the excellent use of shadow. Read Full Review
Doctor Strange continues to be one of the most interesting Marvel books on the market right now. Read Full Review
Stunning finale to the first arc with some truly spectacular visuals, which might have overshadowed the writing a little, but not much. Read Full Review
Fantastic stuff! Great ending to the arc and beautiful art by Saiz. This book is a joy to read!
OMG the art was so good, top of the line, absolutely great. I'm not sure I like the twist at the end, but... ok, good enough story. he's back! (or is he?)
from a base of 6, this gets a rating of: 9.
+1 because: the art was definitely above average.
+2 because: a good storyline going here.
I was worried that Strange take so much time, too much I thought. But that was for the better, because after that he make wonder.
All the story in space is nice, love Kanna very much & I'm happy to see her have a part.
Sure it's weird having Strange worried for earth, I believe the Alpha fight station or Captain marvel could have taken down the warhead.
I also like how strange deal with his enemy or who is telling his story.
I looking forward for next issue.
Cover - The variant. Nice but not related 1/2
Writing - Well done even if the start make me scared for a moment. 2.5/3
Arts - Stille great love Strange outfit. Maybe a little to much panel without background. But in the same time much happen in s more
The forge related material is awesome, but the action gets a bit too condensed and difficult to follow in the latter half of the issue. I'm thrilled to see that Bats is still around.
Dr. Strange's cosmic story swerves into a left-field twist ending. A few cool concepts and visuals are introduced prior to the twist, too, but the nuts-and-bolts storytelling doesn't give them the epic feeling they should have. Stephen's Clever Plan for saving the Earth is a perfect example: It's a clever idea, revealed in a pair of silent panels with very "blah" visuals. I think stronger writer/artist collaboration could have helped here; this particular script demands a lot of cinematic action and though this particular artist has great strengths, cinematic action is not one of them.
