    AIPT - Christopher Franey Dec 30, 2020

Ghost Rider: Return of Vengeance #1 is a good issue that brings back another rider to the mystical parts of the Marvel Universe. It's a strong read that introduces the character to new fans while staying true his roots for longtime readers, all the while reminding us that there is more to Vengeance and his ways. Ghost Rider: Return of Vengeance #1 (Mackie, Saltares, Prianto, Sabino) brings plenty of hellfire-fueled action to make for an exciting return of the character from the 90's but loses a lot of momentum trying to find its footing. Read Full Review

While some may complain that this story is the work of a teenage boy's fantasy that is exactly what this series is about. If you are a fan of generic black metal and skulls you will enjoy this one. Read Full Review

Saltares gives a fittingly hellish aesthetic to Ghost Rider Return of Vengeance #1. Just the new design of Vengeance displays the overall menace. The spiky armor with no chains or leather presents him as a direct product of Hell. There are no ties back to the main Ghost Riders, only a fury that goes in every possible direction. Horror DNA - James Ferguson Jan 3, 2021

Ghost Rider: Return of Vengeance ushers in the next chapter for these warriors from Hell. Ghost Rider has been on hiatus for a bit and I hope we get to see more from this corner of the Marvel Universe soon. Hopefully this is the first step towards that. For now, crank up some metal and enjoy this badass one-shot. Read Full Review

    Graphic Policy - Brett Dec 30, 2020

There's nothing bad about Ghost Rider: Return of Vengeance but there's also little that stands out. It's a perfectly entertaining comic in a turn off your brain sort of way. The comic exists as part of the big picture plans for Ghost Rider and that corner of the Marvel Universe. It doesn't really stand on its whole but it gets the motorcycle rolling for whatever is to come for Vengeance. Read Full Review

I've never read a comic that did this much explaining without explaining anything about the title character that might make me care about him. In essence, this was a boring book that should only be distributed for free with a Ghost Rider action figure"as a digital code"to save money on paper. Read Full Review

If you're after a quick rush of 90s nostalgia in the form of a brand new comic, it would be difficult to top Ghost Rider: Return of Vengeance #1. Read Full Review

I understand that lovers of the early 90's run of Ghost Rider may find more value in this one-shot, and maybe if I didn't have so many unanswered questions floating around in my head from last series I would have been more open to some more questions and characters. But honestly I can find no value in brining back the Ghost Rider known as Vengeance when Cosmic Ghost Rider seems way cooler, but is pretty much the same character. Read Full Review

Personally, I'm not a fan of Ghost rider, however I liked it, it was agile, good amount of action.

This was pretty good I enjoyed reading it while it didn’t blow me away if this becomes a series I will add it to my pull list

Decent, but will this be followed up somewhere else? Otherwise it's quite pointless.

I got this because I hadn’t seen anything by Mackie or Saltares in ages and this seemed 90s af. It is, and that’s really all there is to it. Turn off your brain, crank up testosterone levels and it’s a fun enough diversion. Can’t say I’m hankering for more, but as a one shot it reminded me of 90s Marvel and that’s all I was asking it to do (though I should add, the art is quite good).

This entertained me for 24 pages but afterward, the pile of ☠☠☠☠s I give about Vengeance remains microscopic.

This was very 90s. With the main series ended and not much on the horizon for Ghost Rider, I wonder what this issue is potentially setting the stage for.
