Though it may not have the star-spangled action of the previous Invaders volumes, this third issue keeps the mystery and wartime intrigue of the team alive and well. Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Matt Meyer

Although the story's momentum stalls out slightly this issue,Invaders is still an extremely well-made book that deserves a wider audience. The Invaders may never be the Avengers in terms of popularity, but with a comic this strong, they don't have to be. Even the slight hiccup here in issue three still resulted in a generally strong comic. Read Full Review

Invaders was a beautiful issue. Zdarsky let's lesser characters shine like Randall and Nay which leads to one of the most emotional issues I've ever read. Namor is still perfectly written. Zdarsky does a great job of giving these characters real and relatable emotions.

THE GOOD: -I love this comic. It's one of the things I look forward to most every month. -These are real characters and they're written like real characters and I love it. They're not joke-dispensers or depressed robots and that's fantastic. -I really liked those scenes with the Navy. They were just really well-done. -I love Bucky. -Namor has gone from a character I wasn't super interested in to a phenomenal villain, especially with this issue. -Oh my god, Nay and Randall are just both so great. -That salute between Steve and Randall was just beautiful. 'Nuff said. -That end was amazing. Emotional and tragic. Real stuff, not synthetic either. If you're tired of those series that try to be emotional, but really more

Great issue. I kind of wished I got to reading this series sooner. The art is great especially the fight scenes and the underwater scenes.

This series is really good. I think the only major failing it has is the art. It's really good for up close panels, but everything becomes a mess far away.

My reaction was similar to other commenters, except when art makes me go "ugh," I actually ratchet down my rating.
