We've been waiting for the F4 to make a comeback for years and it seems we're finally right there. This is one of the most beloved groups and families in comics and has been that way for years. Ben and Johnny getting their powers back is a good move as well as I certainly wasn't a fan of them not having them. I just want the 4 back. We'll see what happens from here. Read Full Review
The Mad Thinker is madder than ever and seems truly bent on trying to become Reed Richards. With the characters in this issue and some others who are soon to appear in the main FF book, Marvel seems to be having a bit of fun playing with our notions of what a "Fantastic Four" is. We should all be looking forward to Reed and companylet it be known in no uncertain terms that there is only one foursome to whom that title truly, rightfully belongs. Read Full Review
After eight great issues, the creative team is entitled to aslight stumble here - but I look forward to a return to greatness with the next issue. Read Full Review
It's turning out to be a very good thing that Marvel Two-In-One wasn't forced to wrap up early, as it's a top-notch story for both The Thing and Human Torch. Read Full Review
This series began well out of the gate and became a must-read. Then, the series started to fizzle in the last two issues. Now, this series needs to be back on every FF fans pull list going forward. Read Full Review
It's frustratingly ordinary, with some questionable artistic decisions. A major outlier in what's otherwise been an extraordinary run. Read Full Review
Another good issue with great characterization of Ben and Johnny. It's unfortunate that the art was up to par.
Fighting the Mad Thinker and his shabby Ersatz Four is exactly what Ben and Johnny need to patch up their "brothers by choice" relationship. Plus, the final page sets up a magnificent reunion in the immediate future. The script is tremendously endearing but also decompressed; it's obvious that this issue's plot is stretched to reach that boffo cliffhanger. The art does sound storytelling work, but it's unlikely to get bookmarked as anybody's favorite.
Still as good, very good characterisation and overall story. The artwork does not really suit the story but is rather good no matter what.
Continues to be a great story but the art is hard to get used to.
Weak art but Chip's script has so much heart it makes up for it.
Good story but the rushed/atrocious art is not helping.
how can anyone read something that looks like this? honestly, it seems to be ugly on purpose.
and since the main book is back anyway (LOL Marvel) who needs it?
