The issue is an ending, not a beginning. I definitely would not advise anyone to start reading here. I think this is a pretty strong script capping off another interesting Moon Knight run. While I wish some of these runs would be longer. Read Full Review
While Moon Knight #200 is as messy as most special issues of a long-running series, its approach to the character and story of the past few years provides lots of reasons to love it, flaws and all. Read Full Review
Well-drawn, with a wonderful artistic cameo from Sienkiewicz, but a confusing story and some tone-deaf dialogue moments detract from the story somewhat. Read Full Review
In a run with moments of brilliance, the conclusion drowns them all out with a nonsensical story without a satisfying resolution, art that is mostly, technically fine but clashes with the tone, and a main character that was less developed than one of his antagonists. Read Full Review
This is a review for the entire series, and while this run isnt my favorite compared to the 2014, its still a solid series that I would highly reccomend.
what the hell was this about
After literally not being able to ginish the last issue because of how bad it was, this is definitely a step up. Bemis started his run on fire and it continued the great moon knight quality we've been getting for a while. The issue where Bemis gave his secret origin story of Marc is where this series took a downward spiral. Moon knight is a character with mental health issues but thats not all he is about. Bemis focused too much on it and almost made this series into a nonsensical, overly worded take on Marc Spector and his character. Glad its over.
This is weird, and hard to follow.
This was extremely disjointed and such a bad end for this series. Knowing how much the story as well as the writer's life unraveled makes me sad. This was mostly a great run, but it couldn't stick the landing.
This comic just utterly baffles me in literally every way. What are you, Moon Knight. I want to like you. There are so many moments where it almost makes sense, and then it just doesn’t.
What were they on when they wrote this????
Not sure who's crazier the character or his creative team?
Ugh, horrible. After the first arc this series went down hill fast. Couldn't even finish this comic it was so bad. Glad it's over.
