Mr. & Mrs. X #6 might be Kelly Thompson's most impressive issue of the series. Read Full Review
All in all though, the characters are beautifully rendered and colored. This is an entertaining read that provides a perfect gateway for the next chapter of this series. I recommend you pick it up and enjoy. Read Full Review
Loved it! We haven't gotten to see the two in their element at home, only at a resort and in space! It is far from a normal day off though, they are confronted by something most newlyweds don't want to be confronted by Ex's and in-laws! But that makes it all the more interesting! We had awesome guests as artists and colorists and still brought the liveliness to the comic. I'm excited for the rest of the story line! Read Full Review
We all know how weddings and social events can be overshadowed by the action and this was skilfully avoided here to ensure the narrative was the main star. Read Full Review
The new issue is a nice showcase of Thompson's character-writing skills. Read Full Review
Mr. and Mrs. X is easily one of the best X-Men books of 2018. Read Full Review
MR. AND MRS. X #6 has its satisfying moments. However, there are too many subplots introduced for the issue to be a cohesive one. Read Full Review
Rogue and Gambit's belated engagement party goes off with plenty of good cheer, a slice of combat, and several quality servings of ominous foreshadowing. Both the art and the dialogue are strong, but I believe this is a case where my love for the title inspires me to turn a blind eye to some weak spots. That love was well-earned and continues to be rewarding, though!
The last part of the previous arc was a little disappointing, and I trusted that this party will be no fun.
And I was wrong. Ok like for the previous arc maybe this will not stick in memory, but it was a nice transitional issue and I ready for more.
Plus, I was one to point out the fact they forget about Belladona. So no ! They don't, they just divorce in a point (I don't know when).
And that's nice to see here again. For Jean Luc (Gambit Father) I find too easy the lookalike with Jack Sparrow ... Come on !
Cover - Really nice, funny & related. 2/2
Writing - At first when she welcome Boby I trust it was Sunspot (After all both Avengers). But no it's Iceman playing the host when both host are in a fight on the more
This was a really fun character issue. There's not much to say beyond that. The cliffhanger was probably my least favorite part of the issue. We don't need even more Mojo.
While coming off an arc that really was painful to finish, this issue was great! Could have done without that cliffhanger, would have been a nice one shot issue and just end it on a happy note. It’s always great to see the characters interact at parties and just be themselves! Enjoyed the artwork.
I thought this was cute and mostly fun and nothing to complain or shout about!
