nice art, shi*** story.

the story though better paced than the first issue, has become boring though consistently bad. the art can't save the comic if it too looks just as dull as the story. dropping the series here. score 0.5 for effort. Marvel, if you're reading this.. WRITE BETTER STORIES! diversity isn't the problem and you can keep your political agenda if you can write really good stories with it, but the way it looks right now, you're more likely to blame readers who don't buy your comics than fixing the problem.

This was a weird and awesome issue...but, maybe leaning a bit more to the weird. I find the pace was too quick when the doom patrol was in the Scantoverse, though i liked how all of this was just to display how Niles Caulder is a hotmess. This issue is more of a set-up for this current story arc which i think has to do with $#!+.

Solid filler issue, setting things up for future flash stories. unfortunately for eager fans, this setup has no relation to the button crossover.

A bit messy, but makes me want to read the repercussions of this story arc. Score: 8.3

So far the most bada@# book i have read this year.

I love the series as a whole, but gotham academy second semester's pacing has been off the rails lately, this one is no different. It reveals so much too quickly, that i wasn't as into it as much as i hope it should have. The way the story is progressing, they're pretty much rushing ending to the series, hopefully they do the final arc justice. i'll give this a 6.7 the plot and story is there but the pacing and execution wasn't. (edit) still excited for the conclusion.

How to talk to girls at parties didn't really teach me how to talk to girls at parties so i would give this book a score of 2/10 just because it is an awful manual. But as a story, it's been a pleasure to read but sadly its too short. SCORE: 9.99

The story is amazing but the art is walking a thin line between really good and jarringly awful, making it a real challenge to read through it. Reading of previous issues of JLA, Doom Patrol, and other Young Animal books is required to get the full scope of story. It is enjoyable as is, but understandably very difficult to get into.

I have read all the young animal imprints, yet this will be my first review on the imprint :'(. This is issue is a must buy, to fans of rac shade the original shade, they complained on how different meta is compared to 90's shade. you get your answers here. For fans of Loma, you get an origin story, this issue fleshes out loma,why she acts like she does, what kind of parents raised her, all while progressing to another storyline. This may only be a filler issue, but it executes a really good transition to next story arc.

This is a filler issue, though not a bad issue, not a lot really happens. You do get insights into the aftermath of superman reborn in this issue, but the plot in this issue seemed to be floating until the last several pages of the book, wherein it sets up a new story arc. other than that this is pretty underwhelming. plus points for the kent family cameo.

HOLY SH#^...Just buy superman #21 right now! It doesn't pick off from batman, but the reveals in this issue will literally make you hate waiting 2 weeks for superman #22.

The story picks up the pace but doesn't reveal everything and leaves it with an exciting cliffhanger. Simply put this story arc is getting really good.

I love this issue, black dawn concludes with the good guys winning and doesn't make the same mistake of killing off Manchester black(He's stuck in a cow's body). But it still didn't explain Lois's leg being back(got heat visioned by supes -0.7) and what that black ooze is(the black symbiote-looking thing Manchester black was using -1). SCORE: 8.3/10

Its an alright filler issue

Damn. The road getting to this point of the story for The Lazarus Contract sorta kinda felt underwhelming for a crossover event but damn, the decisions and actions taken by both heroes and villain will ugh kj;jnj.kn;oinnlkbnikjn. (Semi spoiler(y)) It's so hard to explain, the outcomes of this event are pretty life changing for the characters affected or to put it simply: broken dreams, alliances, and heart(literally) yet i find the conclusion to the story so satisfying. All in all this issue was dark asf. Yet i look at this and it just makes me excited for the next issues following this event.

Pretty Good Story is surprisingly really good, makes me want to continue reading the series. JRjr and the colorist needs to step up their game though, especially since this comic is an artist driven comic. Overall: 86/100

Its okay. Messy, but enough to make me want to read the next issue. Needs to get better though. The art is fantastic, sadly the story loses me after a good introduction of the first few characters.
