One of the most shocking, harrowing, and gut-punching beginnings to any Spidey story I've ever read. Without a doubt, it's gonna be one for the ages.

A great continuation of a fantastic first issue that offers up a lot of fun, comedy, and heart

An endearing and heart-felt issue between two of the unlikeliest of friends in the Spider-Man comics.

The return of Donny Cates as the writer spells out an incredible psychological story about Eddie Brock's journey without the symbiote, heading towards an unstoppable hurricane of disaster.

An exciting development in the Heist storyline, and while Peter is a bit more passive, Felicia and MJ get wonderful development from Spencer

A fascinating and uncomfortable deep-dive into the mind of Samir, with beautiful art, character development, and topics that might give any reader cold feet.

An important, heartfelt, and stellar one-shot for the web-head that teases what's to come in the future.

A strong final issue for the build up to Spider-Geddon, with lots of good world-building, character moments, and heart.

View Issue       View Full Review

A fun, hilarious, and somewhat touching holiday issue for the web-head that doesn't take itself too seriously, in a good way

View Issue       View Full Review

A proper set up for the event that develops the story and characters nicely, although is confused on what the villain wants

View Issue       View Full Review

An incredibly good set up for Peter, MJ, Mysterio, and the new villain, but could be a little bit better.

View Issue       View Full Review

A very well-done introduction for Insomniac's Spider-Man from Earth-1048, as well as a great prelude to Spider-Geddon.

A great and emotional set up for the next chapter of Eddie's story, and shows no signs of dropping in effort and quality.

An emotional, yet anti-climactic conclusion to the Abyss story arc that could potentially be messed up by future events

View Issue       View Full Review

A good tension-breaker for the web-head, with lots of well-done comedy, art, and character moments, but needing a bit more from the latter.

A promising start to yet another Marvel event, with fantastic art from Gleason, smart writing from Spencer, and great character work with both Peter and Miguel.

An enjoyable issue that further sets up the next big storyline, albeit with rushed art and story details

A satisfying epilogue to Hunted that delivers for a lot of characters and their resolutions, but somewhat lacking in others.

View Issue       View Full Review

A monumental rollercoaster of a Spidey issue that delivers on the excitement and emotions, but doesn't essentially follow up on what was promised.

Overall, this is a strong chapter in the event of Absolute Carnage that goes beyond just developing the story. From bringing back Sleeper, to developing and teasing interesting avenues with Dylan, this book is not gonna be one to skip when it comes to keeping up with the overall event. From the character work to the stakes, to the nail-biting tension, I enjoyed it thoroughly, and I'm incredibly excited to see where it all goes next.

A fun, yet tedious set-up for the 2099 event that introduces some unique story elements, but leaves certain characters to the wayside

View Issue       View Full Review

An entertaining trip down memory lane for one of Marvel's most popular characters

View Issue       View Full Review

A solid issue that picks up the pace and quality, but still feels rushed overall in terms of story.

An enjoyable, yet flawed and underwhelming start to Marvel's big Spider-Event.

A great first issue for this arc, and I look forward to seeing how this story unfolds for our favorite web-slinging' anti-hero.

An enjoyable, yet mixed-bag conclusion to an enjoyable, yet mixed-bag mini-series of Marvel's lethal protector.

View Issue       View Full Review

A good chapter within the larger ongoing story that does its job well, while further planting the seeds for the future of the characters

View Issue       View Full Review

Spider-Geddon continues to limp its way through, with great art, characters, and fights, but being dragged down by a story that's taking forever to set up.

View Issue       View Full Review

A great concept with some great moments, but held back by the format it's put under.

View Issue       View Full Review

An enjoyable payoff to a somewhat underwhelming mini-arc, for which the only purpose is to set up a future storyline

View Issue       View Full Review

A brutal fight night between Spider-Man and Kindred delivers on emotion and scale, but leaves one still questioning where this story is even going.

View Issue       View Full Review

An enjoyable adventure featuring the web-head and Boomerang, but lacks any real depth and stakes.

View Issue       View Full Review

Overall, I think this is a promising new start for the character and her story, but only time will tell if Bendis and co. can deliver an interesting and compelling story.

View Issue       View Full Review

A disappointing issue that has some enjoyment in it, but overall continues the messy downward spiral of this event.

View Issue       View Full Review

A slight improvement from an art and character perspective, but still continues to be a story of white noise that has no direction in sight at all.

View Issue       View Full Review

A lackluster one-off and prequel that has some merit, but overall fails at introducing these new versions of Peter Parker and Uncle Ben.

View Issue       View Full Review

A weak finale to a weak event that unfortunately can't be saved, despite some entertaining action and character moments.

View Issue       View Full Review

Genuinely fantastic art and fun battles do little to save this deteriorating storyline from its lack of direction and constantly going in circles until the final issue.
