• Boomerang is, no joke, the worst roommate ever.
• Not only does he prove the phrase "three's a crowd" but also, he somehow talks Spider-Man into going to the Bar With No Name...
• ...putting Spidey in the crosshairs of dozens of super villains!

An endearing and heart-felt issue between two of the unlikeliest of friends in the Spider-Man comics. Read Full Review
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #7 isn't just a great Spidey issue, it's a great Boomerang issue. The interactions between Pete and Fred are key, and the build-up surrounding this new villain are to die for! Read Full Review
But on the plus side, this feels like the smallest of speed bumps on an otherwise superb story — it shows Spencer and Ramos’ handle on Peter Parker that they don’t even need to show him in costume to tell one of the most fun stories of the week. Change is hard, especially after years of Dan Slott’s deservedly praised run on the series — but I think Spencer is absolutely playing to his strengths with his smaller-scale stories on the Amazing Spider-Man, a series that delivers great laughs and great action in equal measure. Definitely don’t pass this book up. Read Full Review
A strong statement as the most fun era of Spider-Man ever. Read Full Review
Amazing Spider-Man #7 is another fantastic issue by Nick Spencer and company. This series can soon sit next to Tom King's Batman as the only comics to perfect the double-shipping schedule. Spencer's run will one to revisit often once it's collected. Read Full Review
With each issue, Spencer is making me more curious about what is coming for Spider-Man. Read Full Review
Gags, action, and a moment of genuine goodwill all land well and make for the first issue of this new volume to really click. If this keeps happening, then Amazing Spider-Man will be a series to watch. Read Full Review
The creators wrap up Boomerang's limelight story with some real heart here. It's a sentimental conclusion that works surprisingly well. Wheels are turning ominously in the wider world of Spider-Man, though. This was an enjoyable Spidey-free interlude, but it's time to get Peter back in the mask. Read Full Review
Spider-Man and Peter Parker are both in good hands with this creative team. This is a good thing, since despite the book's name this was the adventure of Peter Parker this month. Fortunately, Parker proved that he doesn't need a costume to be amazing. Read Full Review
A great Boomerang story! Also more intensity with a certain mysterious figure in Peter's life.
This comic continues to fire on all cylinders.
Real talk I love Boomerang so much, he is perfect.
Great stuff. I continue to enjoy Spencer's humor and love his take on these characters. You know you're good when you make me care about Boomerang. Humberto Ramos and Delgado can be a hit or miss but they again deliver a great one here. Miss the Superior foes with that Lieber spread!
Great book, this shows us that Nick Spencer can write a Spider-Man book without Spider-Man.
We get to see Peter and Boomerang grow as people which I really enjoyed and got to see a different side of Boomerang, excited for the next one
Another great issue. Who knew that Boomerang would be so interesting character?
And I love that Spencer gets Peter right. Peter knows he shouldn't do the right thing since it mibht bite him in the ass in the future but he still does it because it is the right thing to do.
And that new villain has me interested.
THE GOOD:
-I liked Ramos's art. It was fun, light-hearted and enjoyable. Basically just like the issue.
-That Batman reference was really something that shouldn't've worked but it truly was one of the best punch lines in the issue.
-I liked the way the issue explored the relationship between Pete and Boomerang. A very well-done aspect of the issue and the story arc.
-There was a twist in this issue that I truly did not see coming. It opened up three pages of tragedy and great humor.
-I liked the end of the issue. This series is handling its mystery villain very well.
THE BAD:
-My only real complaint is that compared to last issue, the humor level of this issue more
Pretty cool issue, with a lot of heart. I'm looking forward to see where the story goes with an intriguing new villain, and an interesting development with Boomerang. I actually hardly noticed that Spider-man didn't appear in this one, but now that I have, I hope they make up for some lost Spidey-time in the next one.
Best issue in the series so far!! Even though the art seems to be getting worse, it had me feeling! Really hope that Boomerang and Spider-Man do more team ups! Quite curious to see which Roommate is off limits tho, Randy or Pete... (score may possibly be bias due to fact I am a Spider-Man fan)
I really liked it, but Kingpin reaction to seeing Vanessa was to heartsy.
This issue is inusual for a spider man story but it's realy funny and with a great end
It's warming up the Superior Foes thing (which was very cool back in the day), but not it's just lukewarm. Like the retelling of an old joke: not as funny anymore. Art was really bad, too. One issue in I'm already out again. Waiting for the next writer (or Zdarsky's comeback).
