Humberto Ramos art is beautiful and full of both detail and energy. Read Full Review
Though AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #20 gives us some answers, it also leaves us with a few more questions. There's enough drama and tension to keep you hooked, for sure. If that's not enough, then the art should definitely seal the deal. Read Full Review
The second half of Amazing Spider-Man's "Hunted" is shaping up to be much better than the first. Read Full Review
On the final home stretch, the event seems to finally be getting some footing underneath itself. Read Full Review
Amazing Spider-Man #20 was a strong chapter that moved "Hunted" into the second half of the story. Nick Spencer execution of the story as he moves every chess piece into the place they need to be to maximize the sense of urgency in the story was great. Every character from Black Ant to Kraven to Black Cat are made to feel important even as Spider-Man is still clearly the star of the show. Read Full Review
"Hunted" feels like it's losing momentum, and that's not quite a problem yet, but it's getting there. Read Full Review
Although it's a bit frustrating that Spider-Man doesn't actuallydo morethan swing around reacting and hiding in trees, "Hunted" continues to be a solid romp. By this stage of the story, though, it is beginning to sag just a hair under the weight of all its myriad subplots. Read Full Review
This story arc needs to end. Readers may find themselves getting bored and its moving too slow. Lets get to Kravens son fighting Spidey, as well as Kraven. Lets get to the final battle with Lizard ripping out his chip and going HAM with Spidey as they take on Kraven, Arcade, and the other costume villains led by Vulture. No more tie ins, please. As a certain someone I know says all the time, when are we going to get to the fireworks factory? I dont know Millhouse I just dont know. Read Full Review
Really enjoyed this issue. It had a lot of big moments and twists. Really excited to see how this all ends.
This story arc fascinates me, and I’m so invested in Black Ant and Taskmaster’s friendship.
Things are finally going down, and I am very much up for what's happening here.
It's entertaining but not groundbreaking. I enjoy it for what it is.
This was the first issue that made me feel like the concept is starting to work. I really am going to see how it all ends. This was the start of the turning point that will either make or break this story.
Great twist in this issue, its definitely better than the first half of this event. I loved Black Cats hero moment, im excited to see the showdown between Spidey and Kraven(wether its young, old or both). And im excited to see wether the Centepede will play a bigger role, since we didnt see him in this issue.
Spidey spends the whole issue on the sidelines while the Lizard and Black Cat actually get into the scrum. Did Mr. Spencer lose track of which issues were supposed to carry the main story and which ones were supposed to be the ".HU" side-stories? Or is this just the inevitable evolution of the kid-glove approach he's taken to Spider-Man throughout this volume? "Spider-Man: a beloved action figure around whom interesting things happen"? No thank you!
