IT ALL ENDS HERE! With the future of Gotham City at stake, Bruce Wayne leads an attack on the Wayne-Powers building to take down Blight and his minions once and for all. And with the new Batman, the Robins, and GCPD's Barbara Gordon at his side, anything seems possible. But not all endings will be happy: Bruce is still an escaped felon, and the FBI is hot on his tail. Could this be the end of Batman? Not if the mysterious Agent Prince has anything to say about it!

Batman: Beyond the White Knight #8 provides a great sendoff for this story of the bat-family and the re-imagined Batman Beyond origin, and also leaves the door open for future spinoff stories featuring cameos from a few Justice Leaguers at the end. It gets to the heart of who Batman is, both the character of Bruce Wayne, his legacy, and the symbol of the Dark Knight, and what that ultimately stands off. Murphy did a fantastic job telling this story. Read Full Review
The banter between some of the Bat-family is fun, and new Robin Gan is a blast. It seems like there's so much going on that it's hard to believe the series is wrapping upbecause it's not. Read Full Review
I'm afraid this series is the one that killed the interest I originally had in the White Knight universe. I'd be curious to see Murphy write a Batman book where he wasn't doing the art. Would the reception be as positive then? I don't think so. Read Full Review
As I was reading this issue I was feeling nostalgic, fuzzy and a bit verklempt, the great White Knight Universe was coming to an end. Wow, what an amazing run. That was until I got to the final page and…wtf? It’s continuing? With naughty Pig drawing Mirka Andolfo? And Murph doing Supes and Double Dub?? Full take and FOIA text from DC Editorial meeting at:

a pretty fun and satisfying conclusion to this trilogy. While there are hints to this sequel, I'm interested to see how this goes. It's not as good as the first two, but it is satisfying.
Art: 4/5
Story: 4/5
Total: 8/10
I am very whelmed by this book and overall, this series. I don't know if too much was promised or expected but it definitely wasn't what I was hoping it would be. Neo Gotham hardly played a part in the story, Terry hardly played a part in the story, hell Derek Powers had little to do and was Blight for all of like 15 panels. I was really hoping this would be a satisfying conclusion to the White Knight-verse but even that isn't happening and we're getting another sequel that I don't really feel is justified. I liked the character arcs but they needed to be longer with the pace that Murphy was going and just put out more issues. 3 more for more depth on Jason, Terry and Powers would have been fine or I don't know, throw out the Bat/Harley rommore
Beyond the White Knight never really felt as good as the previous two entries. It felt like it had too much going on, and because of that, not enough material to create more interesting stories, and instead only playing it safe. Terry never really felt like a real character, only a plot device.
But even with all this, I did like this. It wasn't the definitive conclusion to Murphy's White Knight trilogy that I wanted it to be, but it was fine enough.
While I've liked this story more than the previous ones, I feel like this finale exemplifies my issues with the whole White Knight universe of books as a whole. It feels like fan service. Fan service is completely okay if it's done well. When it's used to guide the story and characters forward. Avengers Endgame is the definition of fan service, but I feel like it also was an effective story in its own right, that wrapped up the Infinity Saga very well. This is not that. This is more like SGM wanted to have all these indulgent moments, but really didn't have the space for them. So they happen, fast and loose, almost scattershot, and I'm supposed to care. If I was SGM, or one of his, no doubt, numerous clones, I would be... hooting and hollermore
It's entertaining, but there is nothing here that makes it stand out as super unique besides the art. Joker is just giving corny dialogue, Batman turns his sulking around, the Robins bicker and being a family saves the day.
