Johnson has pretty close to a 100% hit rate for DC right now. Read Full Review
While a Green Lantern without a ring still is an odd development, John Stewart's run has been exactly the kind of fresh idea this new era of DC needs. This creative team is locked in and hopefully this is a title with a very bright future ahead. Read Full Review

PKJ's a massive fan of John Stewart, and this book is a poignant exploration of the person beyond those green constructs. And while #1 was a truly solid start, I think PKJ and company hit the veritable second gear with issue #2. Read Full Review
Green Lantern: War Journal #2 is a solid second issue. We got through the emotional hit of the first issue and this second does an excellent job of building off of what Johnson is focusing on. There's some interesting underlying themes and concepts here that'll hopefully get readers to think but the issue emphasizes experiences many comic readers are going through and can relate. It reminds us that these godlike heroes are just people in the end and despite their grand adventures, they do have to deal with life, much like us. Read Full Review
Green Lantern: War Journal #2 does a nice job of balancing the character and world building aspects of the series with the overall plot. Regardless, this series is another must-read Green Lantern book from DC. Eight out of ten lanterns. Read Full Review

Green Lantern: War Journal #2 is a solid entry in the series that brings the Revenant Queen's hunt to Earth and puts John Stewart's mother in the crossfire. The Revenant Queen presents as a formidable threat with high stakes, and the art is decent. Read Full Review
I just love the take on John Stewart. Great writing and lovely art that tells a story simply yet adds layers to the sub plots. It’s the kind of super hero comic that harkens back to the writing of the 60’s but spins it up into 2060. More please.
Another great issue. Going to be interesting where PKJ goes with the story based on the last page. Revenant Queen looks to be an interesting enemy.
