"The Untouchable" reaches its pulse-pounding conclusion as Nightwing corners his nemesis. If this recent run is anything to go by, the powers that be should tryto keep Humphries, Chang and Campbell on this book for quite some tome. Then maybe, fans of Nightwing may finally get the consistent great book that they deserve. Read Full Review

NIGHTWING #41 is the heart-pounding conclusion fans have been waiting for. Sam Humphries has written an epic ending to the long-awaited face-off between Nightwing and the Judge. With spectacular artwork by Bernard Chang, this issue is one you won't forget! Read Full Review

Orlando knocked the dialogue out of the park (as he often does), the art and colors (by Chang, Campbell, and Maiolo) were gorgeous, and the twists mostly found a way to tell further Nightwing's legacy without relying on the tropes of Batman. Read Full Review

Overall, Nightwing is strong title that I am enjoying. My only grievance is how often DC tries to re-write Dick Grayson's history. Hes arguably the third-oldest character in the DCU, so Id prefer to see all that history count for something. For the most part, it has. Read Full Review

I get the intent. I get what Humphries was trying to do. But I'm ending the series feeling like when I first started: interested, but not compelled. Read Full Review

I thought this was a great issue to resolve the Judge's storyline and to prepare Nightwing to deal with some more human emotions. Which, let's be honest, we all love Dick when he's working out or going on dates. I mean he is DC's classic, teenage heartthrob. Read Full Review

Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison Mar 24, 2018

Nightwing #41 brings a solid if unexciting ending to ‘The Untouchable'. It closes off the story well, but the story was badly flawed from the beginning and ran far too long. However, I enjoyed this conclusion and can recommend it. Feel free to pick it up. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Joshua McDonald Mar 22, 2018

"The Untouchable" improves on its previous issue to end on a better note, but I'm not certain I'd classify it as a high note. There are many opportunities in this arc, and the finale adds to that a bit due to predictability " something Humphries hasn't struggled with up to this point. Ultimately, those opportunities are minor though, and this story has more than enough fun and mystery to warrant a read if you have some spare time and money. Read Full Review

It's not a great finish to the Judge arc but it's not terrible either. The art is fantastic and is enough in my opinion to justify the $2.99 spend. Two more issues, then we get to see what Benjamin Percy has in store for Dick Grayson. Read Full Review

Not the most mind blowing finale, but a solid ending and one that satisfies. For all the complaints that could be given to this run, it was still true to Nightwing and had top notch worldbuilding. Read Full Review

The Batman Universe - Paul Shanly Mar 22, 2018

Despite some elements that I found to be too derivative of other work and some story gripes, I really enjoyed this run on the book and I think that Humphries and Chang put a lot of elements in to play. Im disappointed that those elements probably wont be paid off as the book goes forward with a new creative team. Read Full Review

This was such a forced ending to the Judge and his time in Bludhaven, but why would you expect any different.  Sam Humphries never even told us what the Judge's real powers were and the whole "transformed by the Sea" nonsense didn't get me on board before and so how could it here.  The art was great as usual, but this whole arc has been a complete waste of time and money and I'm glad we can finally move on.
