Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips, and Elizabeth Breitweiser killed it with Kill or be Killed. Every issue was a must read, and it was certainly a joy to look at because of Phillips and Breitweiser. Read Full Review
'Kill or Be Killed '#20 brings this brilliantly written and beautifully illustrated series to an emotional, powerful and open-endedending that highlights the many themes of this comic book explored in it's all too brief run. Read Full Review
After an action heavy penultimate issue, Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips, and Elizabeth Breitweiser useKill or Be Killed#20 to play around with traditional narrative expectations and look at how life is both terrible and precious from a beyond the grave perspective. And, in closing, Dylan's vigilante activities were definitely not commendable, and he needed psychiatric help much earlier than the final arc, but he made some excellent social observations throughout the series. A tragic and poignant conclusion worthy of one of Image's best series. Read Full Review
Kill or Be Killed #20 signs the book off in a fairly understated but still fitting finale. It plays with expectations while still foreshadowing itself well. This is an interesting one, and Ill probably be thinking about it for a while to come. I can definitely recommend this book. Give it a read. Read Full Review
I guess it's to this creative team's credit that it's not a total swing and a miss, that the actual execution and style of Kill or Be Killed's finale doesn't make this last issue dead on arrival. And in that regard, that sort of victory of technique over hard-and-fast rules might just be this team's greatest victory, and a clear showcase of why Brubaker, Phillips and Breitweiser are one of the comic book industry's leading teams to beat. Kill or Be Killed #20 is still a satisfying conclusion to a fantastic series overall. Although it may be one of it's weaker chapters, it should not take away anything from the stellar series as a whole. Kill or Be Killed has been an achievement on all fronts and should definitely be picked up by anyone who is a noir fan or anyone that enjoys fantastic comics. Read Full Review

Just perfect, really loved every issue.
Can't wait for the next creation of Ed Brubaker an Sean Phillips.
I am really torn right now. This was not what I was expecting at all. Not that it was bad, I just would advise anyone that has made it to the end to really be open minded when reading. After the initial read I was planning on giving this a 5, but upon further thinking, it grew on me and I will accept it as a satisfying end even though it's not what I was expecting.
I mean, it's not a bad issue overall, but as an ending to this series it's rather disappointing.
First let me say that I absolutely loved this series. Brubaker is one of the all time greats, BUT the ending was a bit of a let down I predicted the last page half way through the book. Overall though it was a great series, sad to see it end this way.
