Black Cat remains one of the best books being published currently as it continues to fill its pages with fantastic humor, fun heist moments, and great heartfelt character moments and depth. All of that is perfectly captured by the gorgeous and dynamic art that brings this character and her world to life. Felicia Hardy's star continues to rise within the Marvel Universe, just like she deserves. Read Full Review
This book just continues to get better with every issue, and the same is true for this one. MacKay and Villa, with the help of Brian Reber and Ferran Delgado, infuse so much charisma and character into each panel, you cant help but appreciate the craftsmanship here. Theyve built a whole world up for a Spider-Man supporting cast member, in a way that Felicia can be completely independent of Spider-Man, in order to tell a well written, beautifully drawn story that isnt a detriment to the characters or the comic. Above and beyond all else, MacKay is doing an outstanding job of maintaining a solid character arc for Felicia. Shes gone through a great deal of development in the course of MacKays time with her. Given all that shes been through and where shes likely to go with her latest job, its going to be interesting to see where MacKay takes her from here. Shes already cycled through so many weird corners of the Marvel Universe, and now shes shooting right out into a heist with cosmic-level implications. MacKays going to have to tread deftly through his latest series with Black Cat. Read Full Review
If you're a Black Cat fan, this comic is an absolute feast of good things. It is a little wordy in some places but other than that it's a solid, exciting read. Read Full Review
Black Cat #8 is a cinematic take on the heist story with superheroes. Read this to get into Black Cat's headspace, but also to not see, but feel how high the stakes are in this story. Read Full Review
When all is said and done, Black Cat #8delivers a solid narrative that just suffers from a couple of confusing character choices. With that said, the scenario the book sets up with its ending leaves Felicia and company in an interesting position. Any fan will want to see where this one is going. Read Full Review
Os gibis da Gata Negra realmente estão botando um sorriso no meu rosto, eu não consigo dar menos de 10 para uma revista que me faz tão bem.
I liked this a lot. I really think MacKay nails Felicia as a character. This book is super fun.
Felicia launches the Infinity Score proper by yoinking a Stone-holder-person away from Nick Fury Junior. It's a fun heist story told with considerable skill, and it makes a good read. I wouldn't call it great, though, because my first sentence up there encapsulates the plot completely (I refrain from spoiling the identity of the Stone-person, but the comic does reveal it).
Didn't read that "event", love the concept, was lost with some of the characters.
Not as good as usual.
Always gotta love the energy these issues bring. Even if it does come with questions like how did Star get into Fury's custody? Man... a lot of these work better in trades.
meh. It was okay for me. Star shows up, but how did that happen? I feel this takes place after Infinite Destinies
So all the annuals so far were leading up to this? I guess Marvel is pretty desperate to get people to buy this book, I remember also having a preview of Black Cat in a Spider-Man book not so long ago, for all their efforts it doesn't seem to work. I feel like the Infinity Gauntlet is a bit too much for a character like Black Cat, she's more street level. The dialogue was a bit over the top.
