• Daredevil's plan to enlist the heroes of New York City to take down Mayor Fisk has crumbled.
• With Daredevil captured and Fisk high on victory, neither of the two can see the bigger picture: the looming threat that will change the entire landscape of the city!

Charles Soule has done a marvelous job in capturing Daredevil and Matt Murdock. I cannot wait to see what this upshift in his luck will bring next. Read Full Review
It's my favorite time of the month! Daredevil by Charles "Goddamn" Soule came out this week. Number 601 brings a new artist into the world of Matt Murdock — Mike Henderson. An obvious question for this book: the 600th issue milestone gave us a Defenders-plus roster of heroes and concluded the Mayor Fisk storyline. How do you follow that up? "Mayor Murdock" . . . OK, then. Daredevil #601 begins Matt Murdock's unexpected role as mayor of New York City. With Wilson Fisk incapacitated by means of ninja arrows, Murdock finds himself as the leader of the city during an invasion by The Hand. Read Full Review
"Daredevil" #601 is a fantastic introduction to the new status quo of Matt Murdock's life as the mayor of New York City. Read Full Review
A strong issue that'll get you giddy for what is to come. Read Full Review
Daredevil #601 brings us some fun with Mayor Murdock and advances the story of DD #600 in an interesting fashion. It does appear to be in a hurry to reestablish the status quo, but its still an enjoyable comic with great artwork thanks to Henderson and Milla. This one gets another recommendation. Give it a read. Soule does a great job of keeping the tension of the Hand and their agenda as well as let Matt have a little fun dismantling why Kingpin has created in the city. Read Full Review
If you have never read a Daredevil comic before, but are a fan of the Netflix show, grab this and issue #600 and you will be fine with the story going forward. You may need to figure some things out along the way, but this is a solid jumping on point. If you love Daredevil comics, and arent reading this run, or even this arc, do yourself a favor and buy these comics, or wait for the trade. Either way this story and this run will go down as a classic run in my opinion. Read Full Review
Daredevil is arguably the best its been in years, and this is definitely a story to check out. Read Full Review
Overall I will have to say this was not my favorite issue of Daredevil. It was not terribly bad, but it was not good also. It was just okay. Story-wiseI feel like not that much happened and nothing really caught my attention. I still feel like we are close to the same position we were in from the previous issue. The art change from Garney to Henderson was not shocking. Matt Milla makes the transition easier. There are a few art shots that aren'tthe best. It kind of took me out of the story. I do like some things that are teased at the end of the issue and that are going to happen in the next issue. So, it is not all bad and I will continue to read Daredevil. This issue seemed to take a little dip from the previous ones. Read Full Review
It's a solid start, setting up a story with a lot of potential for superhero action and fun. Read Full Review
Matt Murdock as Mayor is super satisfying!
Another fantastic issue. After Wilson is hit with 6 arrows by Hand archers and has to be taken to the hospital, we find out his replacement: Matt Murdock himself. The city is under siege, the Defenders are in jail. Daredevil is the only hope
Welcome to the Oblivion Bar where the first round is on me and the pretzels are free! Be warned: like the pickled eggs at the bar, this issue is going to get SPOILED rotten.
We find out that Fisk is still alive but not doing well with a good 6 arrows in him. By the way, the art on that page was amazing! AND it turns out the Matt Murdock becomes mayor after all. The problem is; Daredevil was taken by the police. So how is Matt going to escape to become Mayor? Well my fellow Daredevil fans, that’s the issue.
The Hand’s plan was to take down everyone in power throughout NYC including police officers, political figures, and even heroes. They got Fisk, and many police and military that were in the area, but now they mo more
After a quick skirmish, Matt takes control of the situation. The art is handled by the co-creator of Nailbiter.
Mayor Murdock takes charge as the Hand assaults NYC. It's plot-heavy and the developments are interesting enough to carry the issue by themselves. Some impressively clean art helps, though the character proportions have me ever so slightly worried.
Soule's daredevil remains a must read. This new artist might just be better than Garney and that's saying a lot. Really interesting stuff.
