This was a great issue throughout with some well done dialogue and great art. The surprise at the end of the issue came out of nowhere and got my attention. Read Full Review
Daredevil #600 pushes the story into new territory in multiple layers. There's still clearly a lot for Charles Soule to say about Hell's Kitchen, let's hope he stays on the title for a long time. Read Full Review
The issue is capped with a short back-up story giving us a history lesson of Daredevil from Foggy’s point of view. It’s nice enough and it’s great to see Perkins tackle some Daredevil. It’s your typical milestone back-up story. Read Full Review
This is a rich story of betrayal, cunning plans, revenge and has an amazingly beautiful recap of the Foggy Nelson and Matt Murdock friendship. Read Full Review
There is a special feeling when a book's writing and drawing are both on point and create a masterpiece worthy of a number like 600. This creative team is golden. Read Full Review
Daredevil #600 is an excellent ending to the "Mayor Fisk" story arc. Charles Soule ends the arc in shocking fashion with Daredevil, Spider-Man and other heroes arrested. At the same time we see a major shift in the status quo with the Hand taking out Mayor Fisk. All of these developments create a number of stories for Soule and other writers to follow-up on. Those story possibilities set-up a future that will excite fans of Marvel's street-level comic books. Read Full Review
Daredevil #600 is another excellent issue in Charles Soules run of the series. The lack of a complete ending does detract from the book, but the overall story is often fun, at times intense, and always compelling. The B-story is a nice little love letter to Matts best friend, and the overall comic earns itself a strong recommendation, even if the $5.99 price tag is frustrating. Give it a read. Read Full Review
With what Charles Soule and Ron Garney have put to the page, Daredevil remains in capable hands. Good thing, too. Because where the events of this issue leave off? He's gonna need all the help he can get. Read Full Review
Daredevil #600 wraps up the Mayor Fisk story arc but opens up another can of worms in the process. Soule opens up another chapter in Matt Murdock'slife and brings him into a new messy situation in the process. Garney wraps up his run with DD in dramatic fashion with some spectacular artwork. Some surprising things take place in Daredevil #600 and will definitely have fans talking until the next issue. Horn Head has a plan to stop Mayor Fisk but, like most plans, this does not go off without a hitch and DD may need to have some back up in Daredevil #600. Read Full Review
A solid ending and backup make this a good issue indeed. Read Full Review
While not a typical milestone comic, the ending was a big twist that many wont see coming and it sets #601 up nicely. Read Full Review
Being honest, I was disappointed with this issue, I had hoped this would be a good issue to jump into the world of Daredevil since its been a while since I last read any. But sadly it just didn't hit the mark, it suffers from having too many heroes involved, who barely are used, or used those extra pages to give a huge brawl between the major players, which what the cover had suggested. This wasn't the milestone issue I was expecting. Read Full Review
There's some good art and some nice running dialogue, even though the story as a whole didn't coalesce. Read Full Review
It's all a bit too much zigging and zagging for a single issue to handle, even an oversized milestone issue. Read Full Review
With a new status quo to explore, hopefully Soule and Garney can recapture some of the magic they found earlier in their run, but they currently feel like a team that's running out of steam. Read Full Review
Fuck the reviews, thus issue was fantastic
I absolutely did not see any of it coming. The twist at the end was insane!
Sam’s and Matt’s battles with their greatest enemies conclude this issue as Sam refuses to kill Muse, much to the Beast’s dismay. Muse kills himself anyway by jumping into a fire. Wilson brutally beats Matt before his big rally as Peter, Luke, Jessica, Danny, Marc, Maya, Misty, Hammerhead, the Owl, Diamondback, and Felicia are all captured by the NYPD in a sting operation. Adding to all the chaos, hundreds and of Hand ninjas attack the city. Spectacular work by Garney and Soule
Damn, that's one hell of an issue, fitting for #600. I would have been satisfied with just the Muse/Blindspot fight, but we also get a showdown with Kingpin and an insane twist at the end.
Daredevil's plan to take down Fisk goes awry, Blindspot triumphs over Muse in a Bad Way, and a one-two smasher of a twist ending drops a whole new maze of problems onto the title going forward. The plot is magnificent, as are the visual layouts. The finishes remain sketchy, but there's a confident poetry in the lively linework. The B story celebrates Foggy Nelson. Fair enough, but it doesn't say much/enough about WHY Foggy's worth celebrating. The two monster twists are an excellent way to celebrate hitting #600, though at least one of them arrives with instant questions about how it could possibly make any sense.
Really solid issue. The art was fantastic and the story was well written with some nice twists along the way.
Welcome to the Oblivion Bar where the first round is on me and the pretzels are free! Be warned: like the pickled eggs at the bar, this issue is going to get SPOILED rotten.
I hope this book stays the same after Fresh Start. It’s really getting its footing now. I’m digging the art.. not my favorite but it fits with the style of the book. And, we get an amazing extra large issue 600! I hope this creative team is sticking around.
We get Daredevil bringing the street level heroes together to take down MAYOR Fisk... which is just crazy too say! But it turns out, they were set up and Fisk called the police on them all. Lucky for Daredevil, he wasn’t inside, but the rest were, including Spider-Man, which were taken by more
Art: 3.5/5
Story: 4/5
Total: 7.5/10
Dragging storyline by Soule and terrible are. Sick of this storyline which is never-ending. Would give this a -10 if I could.
