Daredevil: Cold Day In Hell #2 is a strong and impactful follow-up to the first issue. It successfully builds tension, delves deeply into the emotional landscape of its protagonist, and continues to deliver stunning and evocative visuals. While the larger plot is still developing, the character work, the haunting portrayal of a hero on his last legs, and the introduction of compelling antagonists make this a truly engaging and essential read for any Daredevil fan. The anticipation for the final issue is already high, and there's a palpable sense that Charles Soule is crafting something truly special here. Read Full Review

I can't help but feel this is Daredevil and Marvel's “Dark Knight Returns” momentthe art nails down that aged and ragged feeling and vibe. Charles is back in the driver's seat, showing us that Matt is in a race against time, bringing finality to the story and character with this tale. I truly feel as though when all is said and done this will be an instant classic. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Wakizashi Gray May 28, 2025

Even better than issue #1, Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell #2 is a brilliant piece of comic book storytelling. The story is exciting and moving as we see Matt swinging back into action above his beloved Hell's Kitchen. This is aided by the return of a couple of beloved characters. Matt is living in the moment because he knows his time is limited and that gives a thrilling and almost almost frantic pace to the issue. The art and coloring are a true feast for the eyes making it worth the higher asking price. Probably Marvel's best current book! Read Full Review

Daredevil's powers are beginning to fade; the radiation dose gave Matt a limited and unknown amount of time to remain the Man Without Fear.

The girl Steve Rogers saved, named Tyra, has superpowers. Due to the stress, she releases an energy blast that allows him to be easily located by Bullseye's team of mercenaries, called TRIPLE KING.
