I could not agree with you more! Especially about Rod Reis's excellent art!
• It's DAMNATION NATION! Mephisto's on a hot streak that won't stop! Every team that's faced him has fallen, while more of the country falls under his influence.
• There's just one card left to play: Wong versus Mephisto...ALONE!
• Who escapes alive, who escapes undead and who doesn't escape at all? DAMNATION is going out in a blaze of glory, and you GOTTA see who gets burned!
Rated T+
This whole epic was worthy of Sin City, with high stakes and huge gambles taken and people risk everything for the biggest prize of all. Their very souls. Read Full Review
DOCTOR STRANGE: DAMNATION #4 fixes the event's prior mistakes and improves upon its strongest elements in this thrilling conclusion. This isn't just one of the series' best issues; it is one of the best issues in modern Marvel comics. Read Full Review
Great writing and a great twist make for a satisfying conclusion to this story. Read Full Review

"Dr. Strange Damnation" #4 is a formidable finale to one of Marvel's more risky and condensed crossover series! Read Full Review
I was so excited for this little crossover mini-event at the beginning and at the end, I wish I didn't waste my time. The balance that a team a book needs to have was just not here. It really seemed like the team didn't even matter, and the tie-ins were awful. The art was okay when hell was reigning in Las Vegas but after in the hurray point of the book, it felt uninspired. I left this event only enjoying the Doctor Strange book. Read Full Review
Doctor Strange: Damnation #4 is a decent enough read. If you liked the rest of the story, youll like this one too. The fact that the story at least acknowledges that Stranges idea was terrible from the start and ties it to personal problems helps a lot. Reis, Kudranksi, and Brown provide good visuals. Feel free to check it out. Read Full Review
Fantastic art, great character development and future possibilities for two characters, but nothing else. Read Full Review
Damnation end was surprising. I was waiting on Dormamuu to show up. And he wasn't their. And I definitely didn't wait for this ending.
It's was well played. I particularly enjoyed Mephisto send back like a package. ^^
And I will watch for a Midnight sun comics if Marvel doing one. I'm a little sad both Scarlet Spider didn't have a better exposition in this. At least Ben.
Cover - Nice & somewhat related in a way. 1.5/2
Writing - I liked this surprising ending 3/3
Arts - Not super fan of the art ... But their is some pretty good stuff like the splash page I had to turn with a Damn powerful Avengered Doctor Strange. 2.5/3
Feeling - A pretty good story. I like the fact reading the Ghost Rider book wasn't esse more
I've truly enjoyed this issue and yes the writing was great and had some nice twists mixed in with cliched stuff but the art by Rod Reis is outta this world awesome. The splash page in the middle put a smile on my face. Fun comic book!
The good guys thoroughly beat Mephisto by bamboozling him on multiple levels. It's a standard-issue Nick Spencer Big Conflict: Pompous narration on top of strong visuals that ends up less memorable than word-free art would be. Once the battle is won, things take a turn for the better with some solid character work for Stephen and Wong. The art isn't the best-ever example of painterly work, but it's a healthy step above average. This is a nice comic to look at and that helps make it a pretty fun read.
A pretty decent ending to a pretty good overall story. I know that Damnation has been met with criticism and yes, it has its flaws, but it was very enjoyable, had good art and entertained throughout. The Ghost Rider aspect of the story should lead to interesting follow ups down the line.
This series had its ups and downs, but overall it was still a solid issue and enjoyed this Damnation run.
The series ends on a pretty strong note. There a few threads left hanging that can lead to some interesting stories down the road. The members of the Midnight Sons were not given a hold lot to do, but it is nice to see that these characters that are that are possibly without a home have plans for the future. There is some enjoyment from this story even if it may not feel as tightly written as the recent No Surrender story line in the Avengers. The art for this last issue looks great and is a perfect fit for a story of this nature. The characters look great and the backgrounds have a ominous feel. I have said recently that the Infinity Countdown story might feel stronger if the story was a little smaller and stayed in the pages of Guardians more
Wong's plan comes to fruition and it's worth it. I appreciate this chance for his character to shine. I don't think the epilogue is necessary, it's certainly not a story that I'll be watching out for.
a story that had almost zero consequences. Why the hell were Moon Knight, Iron Fist, and Man Thing were here when Doctor Strange could LITERALLY do everything. They didnt even need to be here. This was a 4 issue crossover event that could have been a 3 issue mini story in Doctor Strange. This was basically teh Rough draft for King in Black. Nothing importance came out of this event.
