Comic Crusaders - Kevin Given Jul 9, 2019

This title is an awesome team-up of some of Marvel's most savage warriors and it's a breath of fresh air from a company that, let's be honest, hasn't been doing much savages storytelling in recent years. Read Full Review

'Savage Avengers #3' does the impossible and finds a way to bring this - shall we say diverse - cast of violent characters together for a grim adventure packed full of stunningly dark visuals. This is a book that knows what it is, and excels because of it. Read Full Review

Horror DNA - James Ferguson Jul 18, 2019

Savage Avengers has provided a home for some of the fiercest characters in the Marvel Universe to really lash out without holding back. No one is going to bat an eye when Wolverine cuts a dude's arm off or Punisher shoots up a bunch of cultists. If anything, they'd get a thumbs up. This makes for some fun interactions as well as a pretty skewed moral compass. That's only going to get more askew judging by how this issue ends. Read Full Review

If Savage Avengers can continue to give into its impulses and ignore the serious air of gravitas that has hung on it like a widow's veil, then this could become a very fun, oddball sort of series. Read Full Review
