• KATE BISHOP's ex NOH-VARR is back in town in a big way and needs her help with something weird. Do exes ever come back for normal reasons?! (They do not.)
• That's right, something foul is afoot in the City of Angels, and surprisingly, it's not the newly formed Masters of Evil West Coast (OR that Dutch Oven guy).
• No, this reeks of the Hollywood Elite with a seriously gross tinge of "cult," and it will take all of the West Coast Avengers working together - uncomfortable love triangles and personal problems be damned - in order to save the day. Sexy undercover mission, here we come!

I can assure you, there's no comic on stands right now that's as much of a genuine delight as West Coast Avengers. Read Full Review
This book is one of the best things to come out Marvel in 2018 and it will win an Eisner if there's any justice in this world. Read Full Review
This series makes for a delightful read in every single issue and it deserves tons of appraisal. I've loved every chapter's artwork until now, Lim's is easily my favorite since it fits so well with Thompson's storytelling. I'm looking forward to the next issue and hope this title carries on for a while longer. Read Full Review
Kelly Thompson has outdone herself with WEST COAST AVENGERS #8. It's the most fun I've had with this series thus far. And Gang Hyuk Lim pretty much just took the title of best artist on this series. Read Full Review
The Avengers of the West Coast may be a team of utter goofballs, but theyre a team with heart. Its a beautiful rush not to have to read about the end of the world each week and to have characters grow in ways that wont be ignored by a solo book coming out that same week. Once again, WCA remains one of the best books in Marvels library. You need to check it out, and this would be a great place to start for a new reader. Read Full Review
West Coast Avengers #8 did a great job of balancing the humor and the plot. It set up for a longer-running plot (being at minimum two issues long), and also reminded us why some of these characters are a part of the team, despite their"distractions at times. This series has consistently amused me; it's funny but it also isn't shallow. There's always an actual plot to be had, even if it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's the perfect escape, and honestly is a nice change of pace from some of the more serious series out there. Read Full Review
It's an issue of heart-to-hearts, returning exes and a baby landshark and it's a great deal of fun with truly attractive art Read Full Review
A solid balance of setup and action but neither the art or the writing are good enough to justify a purchase. Read Full Review

This comic is so great. Sad that it looks like it'll be ending with issue 10.
Is it really true that 10 will be the last issue? That’s a genuine crime because this is one of the best comics out there and I don’t know why Marvel would cancel it. Anyways Gang Hyuk’s art is definitely a step up after last issue but it’s still no Caselli. The team dynamic is insanely good and I hope Thompson gets to finish her tale
I’m just so amused that Noh-varr is wearing Quentin’s t-shirt.
The story remains a nice mix of action, jokes and a decent plot. I think all the character work in this series despite not liking them in their own books. The artist in this book was definitely a good choice.
The team changes out of their civilian clothes into their hero costumes for the lock-and-load-page and then most of them change *right back into their civilian clothes* for the undercover mission.
Well this issue was weird. Not perfect, but funny. Really love Quentin/Gwen couple. I like when Kate make joke of clint. Or how all are boredom with Noh-varr ^^
Cover - Not perfect or even in link to what I read. 0.5/2
Writing - Thompson seems to have lost all her energy or she maybe lost herself somewhere at first. The start is long, yes. But what follow is really good. And this title may be more in link to the Aaron's Avengers one right now. 2.5/3
Arts - There is some part good and other not that good in this issue. I'm sad to say marvel didn't help much this title by not keeping their promise to have Caselli back. 2/3
Feeling - I will defend this title until the end. That will not be long. April will be is last more
Duded by Marvel just found out my copy of West Coast will not be coming as my comic shop was duded enough copies and they won't be getting anymore. That sucks. No point going on with the series if you miss an edition.
