This isn't an objective review in any way shape or form, and I know that. I also don't care.X-O Manowaris one of Valiant's best series, and the comic reminds me why I love comics in the first place. Read Full Review
X-O Manowar #3 is worth buying at twice the price. It's a summer blockbuster in your hands that should be on your pull list at any cost. Kindt and company have a no-holds-barred adventure worthy of praise for everything from script to lettering. This is a no-brainer of a win for readers. Read Full Review
If you haven't been reading Valiant or X-O Manowar, this series is an excellent jumping on point. You get to learn what takes Aric from being a savage Visigoth to becoming the most dangerous man in the universe, with or without his armor. That is a trip worth taking. Read Full Review
Don't let the title turn you off. I know 'X-O Manowar' isn't as appealing as 'X-Men' or 'The Flash', but it's every bit as exciting. I rarely see a series that has such a strong handle on pacing, action, and character development. Even the exposition is done in a fun and interesting way that makes me want to find out more. Three words: Read this series. Read Full Review

X-O Manowar #3takes the series to a new level by laying out Aric's new situation in a riveting manner. This issue not only made me care about his team more but also the stakes in this conflict. And the action sequences are electrifying. The only thing missing from this series has been the deep connection between Aric and Shanhara. However, Aric's conclusion has me excited more than before about the direction of this series. Read Full Review
Matt Kindt's run on this new X-O Manowar has been outstanding so far. This issue is no exception. It has the right balance of action, introspective character moments and grand sci-fi world building. Read Full Review
Series by series, Valiant continues to deliver books that really swing for the fences. They don't do this by churning out gimmicky books. They produce engaging and gorgeous stories that never fail to entertain. We are only into issue #3 of this series, and I already think it should be snatching awards left in right. I am awaiting with bated breath to see what comes next. Read Full Review
X-O Manowar continues to impress from story to art this series is a must read. There are some pacing issues here and there but nothing that I wouldn't say I'm nitpicking about. Seriously everyone should give this title a chance. Read Full Review

If you are a fan of superhero comics but find the current slate of the big two stale this is an ideal place to jump into this world. Valiant consistency puts out quality content and this series so far is able to both satisfy long time readers while giving new readers a place to begin without feeling lost or confused. Simply put this relaunch has done everything right a relaunch should. Read Full Review
Though the actual narrative direction its taking is inevitable (did we really think Aric could avoid conflict forever?), Kindt and company are making sure to at least make it as bombastic a trip as possible. Read Full Review
Was this a perfect book? No, it wasn't. However it was a really good book. I am actually digging the kind of Planet Hulk vibe about it. Aric as the stranger on a strange world, fighting in a conflict that he wants no part of works really well, and makes this a fun series despite the lack of X-O armour. The art is a major selling point. I liked the book, but it may read better as a trade or if you wait until you have all the issues of the arc. Either way buy this book! Read Full Review

It felt good....
Badass!
Strong issue, as Aric struggles with his own nature; is he a man of peace or a man of war? One aspect I really liked was the opening 4 pages, giving the history of the rise of the Cadmium empire and their subjugation of other races; it added a lot of context to the story, outside of the action scenes. Issue #4 starts a new arc, and though I will miss Giorello's beautiful art, I am fully on board.
The history presented in the opening pages is interesting. I didn't find the action as clearly laid out in this issue, but other than it's basically more of the cool stuff that we get in the first two issues.
