In the near future, space travel is ludicrously expensive and largely ignored. Enter Christine Ocampos, inventor of the Star Shot teleportation device. Her big idea: She'll travel to new worlds, engage-intimately-with local aliens, and film her exploits for a jaded earth populace trying to find something new on the internet. Now, Chris and her merry band of scientist-cum-pornstars explore the universe, each other, and the complexities of sex in MONEY SHOT!
A story about scientists having sex with aliens for the glory of mankind-and money.

I really wish that I could've given a little more detail when it came to story on this book, but I really don't want to spoil anything, not even in the slightest. Trust me when I say that this book is absolutely worth the time and money. Also, if you're under 18 don't even think about touching this book!! Read Full Review

A smart comic about the relationship between greed and knowledge/innovation. Come (no pun intended) for the sex jokes, stay for the important questions about modern values. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Jay Hill Oct 24, 2019

I cannot recommend this comic enough. It could have been a cheesy exploitative romp. But what it has pulled off is incredible. It has all the hallmarks of a creative team firing on all cylinders. It’s a work of fiction that is fresh, well-executed, and relevant to our culture. Every second of this first issue is put to good use and I can only hope they have much more in store. A talented team of writers, a talented team of artists and a extremely original plot and set of characters. Money Shot is a promising new release by Vault Comics and if you're into comedy and science fiction, I cannot recommend this comic enough. Read Full Review

Pastrami Nation - Nolan Smith Oct 22, 2019

Money Shot #1 is making sci-fi sexy again, for a price. This book wont be for everyone, but being a lifelong fan of comic books, I enjoyed it. It is totally unbelievable and not based in reality whatsoever. Think of it more as your guilty pleasure in comic books. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge Nov 14, 2019

I read a lot of smutty manga but there's little out there to titillate and enjoy that engages with readers in an openly sexual way. Money Shot is hedging itself pretty big here by only going so far visually and instead potentially playing up the dialogue more, but it's an opening and welcome one from the publisher. I get why it happens and why we don't get much from the big publishers, but there's a whole world of books and stories to explore and Money Shot is just a tiny sliver of that potential. Seeley and Beattie have fun with the characters and I'm hoping they really lean into the sex side of the premise as it goes on because that's where you'll really get the attention. Rebekah Isaacs has some really great panels here and gives us a great looking cast that I want to see in full action mode here rather than just the before and after with them mostly dressed. Hopefully, Vault Comics will let them really find their way. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Johnny "The Machine" Hughes Oct 23, 2019

Sex in the pursuit of scientific progress AKA “to go where no one has gone and shagged before” is an interesting idea. With the plethora of books that feature sex, Sunstone and Swing for example all looking to cover the emotional aspects of sex, I am sure that here, when it comes to sex, that there will be ramifications both emotional and physical to consider. Maybe I am wrong; maybe its just sex. Whichever way this book goes, it will be a crazy ride! Read Full Review

If Stargate SG1 and Galaxy Quest had a baby, and that baby grew up and decided it wanted to do all the sciencing and also star in a porn series, you would have Money Shot. The book is colorful, fun, hilarious, and uncomfortably close to real life. I'm ready to see more floating pickles, Godzillas with strap-ons, and the lengths that science will go to for discovery. Big Comic Page - Mark Scott Sep 29, 2019

Never taking itself too seriously, this new series is a huge amount of fun, although I think that it could be hard to keep the momentum up without slipping into a parody of itself, or starting to rely too heavily on the sex scenes to keep its readership. I do however, hope this series can keep up its steam. Ive been massively impressed with Vault Comics recently, and its great to see the success their creators are having. Read Full Review

    Graphic Policy - Brett Oct 23, 2019

Money Shot #1 is very much the set up introducing us to the cast of characters and setting up the dynamic. It has glimpses of really smart commentary. But, so far it doesn't really commit to it or pull off what I think it's going for. Like porn, it goes through the motions but feels a little empty and fake. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Alex Curtis Oct 22, 2019

Try as it might, Moneyshot has a concept that's too unwieldy and thin"undone even more by an unfunny, derivative script. Admittedly, the art is very good. But everything else is so bad, I wouldn't even suggest a purchase for it. Read Full Review
