HOLY $#%&!!! This is why I read comics, this is why I spend my hard-earned dollars on fictional characters and the stories they're involved in. It is always a pleasure to see Bruce's emotional side, the man behind the Batman and seeing Thomas sacrifice himself for Bruce plays into why the Batman exists in the first place, to turn the pain and suffering of an individual into something greater without the need to be recognized for it. It stings that Damian may never know his paternal grandfather who is every bit as strong as Ra's without the psychotic desire to cleanse the world. While some people have mixed feelings for Flashpoint since it erased continuity (well until Rebirth) but with this issue, the event really has solidified its place in DC lore for good. In fact, I hope this isn't the last time we visit the Flashpoint timeline. Either way, it's time for the finale and I'm fine with it being delayed a few weeks if it means it will be epic. Hell, I'm even ok if it is released as a double sized issue if they need it to close the story. If the excellent storytelling is keeping up, I'd gladly shell out 5-6 bucks for it. more

That was brilliant and tragic but still left so many questions. Oh, Bruce... ;_;

Liked how the pregnancy issue was resolved. Great character moments for Shawn, Dick and Damian, but the conclusion with Hurt and Deathwing left me going 'Huh?'

Whoa... That was trippy. Impatient to see what happens next. Though... I'm going to admit that while I do think Dick will make an awesome dad, I want this pragnancy scare to be a false alarm.

A great display of character dynamic
We get another glimpse at the mysterious figure that sets disasters all over Dc reality and he is eager to get out so he tries to use this episodic yet pretty interesting villain,who loves secrets and who loves to unlock them to drain our heroes.
This issue shown that JL is not a team of friends but a power house formed on mutual respect and trust and Titans is one built on friendship.
This shown the dynamic of each mentor and his pupil
1)Batman and Nightwing:still cold,but they respect each other,both feel the need to take the lead and share their well thought ideas around to be efficient and quick.Batman is the only one to acknowledge aside from Barry that Nightwing is NOT his sidekick
2)Flash and Flash:Barry and Wally have the best dynamic here,so natural,well built,they enjoy spending time together and Barry defends Wally and respects him,treating him as an equal and defending him to Aquaman.That one scene made Barry seem scary and Arthur to mince his words.
3)Wonder Woman and Troy:They are cold at the beginning but then we get his motive for it,Wonder Woman was hiding Donna was not really a human,she was the first to defend her to her team.She broke her heart in order to protect her.What ticks me is why does not Donna remeber WW's run in new 52 and their whole dynamic?
4)Aquaman and Tempest:Garth does not always agree with Arthur but he still respects and oblies his king.
Thanks to Donna's mental breakdown Lilith was able to track them and together they escaped but the villain got away only to face a fate worse than imprisonment. more

Nice bit of character study. I enjoyed seeing the interactions between them and their approaches to the issue at hand.

Even mote so, I like the distinction made between Batman and Nightwing's leadership styles. Batman's 'Do as I say.' Vs Nightwing's take charge to brainstorm as a team and come to a consensus.

You devious wondrous writer! This was an excellent draw into the story. Despite knowing Pyg was returning I didn't expect this twist. I haven't been this intrigued and impatient to read the next part of a comic in a long while. Waiting 2 weeks for #18;shall be agony.

I would give it a zero if I could. This was insulting.

Sorry to see it end, but this was a nice feel-good wrap up issue. I really liked what they'd done with the Bat family.

Oh, I loved this set up. Good to see that Dick's still numbers among the few who can shut Damian up and make him set aside his Drama Queen issues to be unselfish and offer to watch Dick's back.

Wasn't so sure about this new relationship but I liked the issue with the way Dick touched base with friends and ex-lovers and the organic development of the relationship. Sorry that Damian didn't make it in it though and that last panel... spoiler to say more, but was not keen at all on the suggestion.

Interesting set up. Eager to see how this develops.

Nice tie in story to bring perspective to Dick's importance to this new 52 verse. Good intro of the Pre New 52 Superman to Nightwing and smooth intro of Bludhaven to this verse. Am eager to see Bludhaven now.

Great issue. Neatly resolved and adds character to the history of Dick's mother.

Whoa! Feel sorry for Dick. But Raptor keeps getting more interesting as an opponent.

Will be looking forward to the next issue.

I enjoyed this for a first Arc and plans have clearly been littered in for further development. I'm definitely hooked to read more and to see how Dick reacts to learning about Raptor double crossing him.

I really enjoyed this story. And what a significantly different batman Dick is; one who speaks with his son. And the Huntress fight was badass. Loved the final panel too.

Not a good day for a Pym fan. Yes, it was good to see the Avengers work in sync and cooperation to take down Ultron, but not a fan of how Pym has been treated as a character.

I enjoyed the character interactions. And the hinted adventures through the maze house was fun. The art could have been clearer, especially with the last puzzle. But otherwise the art didn't bother me that much.

The plot builds. I wasn't too impressed with Raptor in the previous issue, but I found him interesting in this installment. It's a rather good hook to keep me interested to see where Nightwing's journey leads to. I appreciated the Babs mirror too.

I liked the protrayal of the re-emerging relationships among the Titans. Good set up and the villain revelation at the end was unexpected, so I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I enjoyed this. And I appreciated Batman's acknowledgement that he respected and trusted Nightwing to makes his own decisions and plans for taking down the PoO.

I have to admit that I liked Babs and Dick being out of sync in their expectations with regards to their meeting. I rather hoped it means they'll finally move on from each other and just connect as friends vs. restarting a relationship.
