The story for this book is pretty damn spectacular. I have to say that this is pretty well written and has great characterizations. The art is Eddy Barrow's best work. He has never been better and really pulls out all of the stops in this comic. Read Full Review

We need a Tim Drake book with this level of art and storytelling on a consistent basis. Fitzmartin and Barrows so clearly love Tim Drake and that fondness shines through in the level of their craft. Although the Lazarus Resin is a crutch that was not needed it does establish Tim as a very powerful character going forward in the Future State universe especially as he rises back from sure death once again at the end of the issue. This comic shows the power that a good Tim Drake story has and the potential within the character for an ongoing comic. Read Full Review

The two-issue Robin Eternal miniseries concludes with a powerful punch, examining the character and history of Tim Drake with great intensity and giving Stephanie Brown and new character Darcy great supporting roles (as well as fitting in nicely with other stories in Future State). Read Full Review

Future State: Robin Eternal #2 is a near perfect comic. The only criticism I could raise is that it was all over too fast, but that's not a critique against the storytellers, it's just that I wish we had more than two issues! The ending to this story really raises a lot of questions, and I would really love for them to be answered. Read Full Review

Bringing it all together, Future State: Robin Eternal #2delivers a strong wrap up to this two-part story. It balances out both its emotional and physical threats well, allowing for a multifaceted story to land that both entertains and grows its main protagonist. Read Full Review

Eddy Barrows crafts some dark, beautifully details imagery throughout this issue. There is a gritty feel to the art and it perfectly matches the dark tone of the story. Read Full Review

Yeah, I'm a bit of a Tim Drake fanboy and maybe I'm letting my love for the character bias my opinions of this book but with these self-reflective looks aside, this is still an action-packed, fun-filled book that looks great all the way. Sure I would have liked some more things explained along the way and would have liked a better connection between Stephanie Brown's appearance here and in her Batgirls backup, but even with these problems I had a good time with this and loved seeing Robin kick ass and take names the whole way through. Megan Fitzmartin, Eddy Barrows, and Adrian Lucas put their best efforts forward in a thoroughly enjoyable two-issue arc that leaves me a bigger fan of Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown than I was before. It's also left me wanting to read more DC Comics about these two! Bravo! Read Full Review

Generally, if you're interested in Tim's future in this strange new Gotham I'd say check it out, but if you're already waning on Future State, it might not hold your attention. Read Full Review

A perfectly adequate Tim Drake adventure that simply doesn't do anything very special with Tim or Robin. Not that any of that is this comics' fault, because DC hasn't known what to do with Tim or the Robin mantle in years. Read Full Review

There's nothing spectacular to be found here, but it's engaging enough to warrant some consideration and that's a notable improvement on the mediocre start of Robin Eternal. Read Full Review

The cliffhanger style ending promising more adventures of Future State Robin seems misguided and another instance where just a return to the present day would be a better fit for Tim Drake. Read Full Review
