They found it-out in the atomic wasteland, a relic from before the war! But what is it: a tool to bring hope back to humanity, or a weapon to finish what the bombs started? Depends on who gets it: the Casino Warlords of Las Vegas or the man called Geiger!
By the critically acclaimed team of GEOFF JOHNS, GARY FRANK and BRAD ANDERSON!
Geiger #2 delivers even more than the previous issue. The kingdom of Las Vegas isnt as glamourous as it seems, and the king is slowly readying to wage war on The Meltdown Man. In addition, we are meeting more key characters while also being kept in the dark about Tariq. Read Full Review
Yes sir, two issues in and I'm totally into this new world that Geoff Johns, Gary Frank, Brad Anderson, and Rob Leigh are creating. Geiger #2 is highly recommended reading. Read Full Review
This is another solid issue from a top notch team! Read Full Review
Geiger is off to a very strong start and is looking like it's going to be one of my most anticipated book each month at this rate. There's so many directions this creative team can go and it really feels like they're just getting started. Read Full Review
Kings of Las Vegas and Godfathers of New York vie for supremacy in an irradiated world. The peasants are thinking of rising, but the man has his boot on their neck. Only a frightened mother and her two children stand in their way, and success can only come from a man who cannot die, who wields the power of the nuclear furnace. Read Full Review

Geiger #2 takes its time to tell a more grounded story to show some of the people's lives in its post-apocalyptic world. However, it feels like it should've come after some more development with the titular main character. That said, the art and colors are great, and the story and dialogue is well-written. Hopefully, there's some payoff to this story in the next issue. Read Full Review
Still a great concept, with a ton of potential, but I just can't get into it. Things fall together just a little too neatly for a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Read Full Review
Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's new series makes a slightly better case for the humanity at the heart of its story but once again feels like a work derivative of post-apocalyptic, even Las Vegas-set, stories. Read Full Review
It kind of feels like Johns was trying to fuse too much into the world of the series. The fact that this is becoming apparent only two issues in suggests that he might have done well scale it back considerably. The title character is fun. The children he runs into at chapters end are appealingly human and emotionally engaging. Everything that happens in Vegas, this issue...really should have just stayed in Vegas. The title character is interesting enough. He doesnt need the silly potential antagonist of...the king of Las Vegas. Its just goofy. Read Full Review
I loved this issue. I agree with another reviewer that it seems like some of the story was cut out, but the art is great and I am so pumpd for the next issue
Great world-building. Artwork and colors are top notch.
Great world-building!
So good! My only thing is that they seem to have skipped a big chunk of the story from 1 to 2!
The art continues to be awesome, the story decisions I found a bit odd, the jump to tell a somewhat different story to present us Las Vegas could have been done in a more engaging way, although I reckon it will make sense in the future.
