Time's up. No more sniffing around, no more barking, no more hiding. The dogs have to get out of this house. Now. But standing between them and freedom is their best friend...and their worst nightmare.

The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally Jun 23, 2021

Forstner delivers some beautiful art throughout this issue. The animation style of the art was always disarming and brilliant considering the subject matter, but the final issue manages to keep the charm of the character design while mixing in some exciting and suspenseful imagery. Looking forward to the trade paperback edition of this and I would buy a physical copy of this for my collection, something that I rarely do as shipping times to Australia are so long and I have no idea when it actually comes out here. Read Full Review

    BGCP - Michael Lennox Aug 10, 2021

As we know from the movie All Dogs Go To Heaven and let's hope that one day Forstner shows Earl, Victor and the other canine victims playing in their final reward. It's a very satisfying conclusion and if you don't put the comic down at the end and pat your own dog immediately perhaps you are as much of a monster as Master? Read Full Review

Lotusland Comics - Hank Rea Jun 23, 2021

'Stray Dogs' ends as only it could. It's a satisfying conclusion to one of the most riveting comics of 2021. It actually lived up to the hype going into the series and surpassed my expectations redefining what comic book thrillers can look like. They took a clever twist and wrung out every last chilling element to create a hard-to-put-down, pageturner, full of menace, and thrills. This is one of those series that should be cherished in a trade, shared, and gifted to everyone you know.  Read Full Review

DC Comics News - Kendra Hale Jul 30, 2021

Stray Dogs is honestly a series that came out of nowhere, and I would've been so sad to have missed out on it's brilliance. It is a series that grabs your attention and holds it. Brava on such a wonderful end. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Johnny "The Machine" Hughes Jun 23, 2021

This series caught me totally by surprise if I am honest. The mix of cute dogs and tense and scary situations wouldn't normally float my boat; Yet Fleecs, Forstner and crew have delivered a book that has made me laugh, gasp, smile and cry. Put simply, this has to be one of, if not the best series of this year! Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Ingrid Lind-Jahn Jun 26, 2021

Stray Dogs #5 is a nail-biter right to the end, especially if you are a dog lover. The dogs are sympathetic and heroic without ever losing their dogginess. The ending is well-crafted and doesn't cheat the story. Even better, there is a hint of a new Stray Dogs book to come in the future. Read Full Review

    Graphic Policy - Brett Jun 23, 2021

Stray Dogs #5 is a solid ending to the series. It wraps things up nicely with an emotional rollercoaster that at times tugs at heartstrings. But, the issue doesn't quite stand on its own. It feels like returning to a film “after the break” and in ways is a little unsatisfying as a stand alone issue. Yes, it's part of a single story but it's a single story broken up in issues and in this case the issue itself feels a little thin. But, it works so well as part of the whole. If you haven't read the single issues, it's a story that sticks the landing and will be a collection that's well worth picking up when released. Read Full Review
