Rated T+
Aside from a few personal issues with characterization, this Alpha issue is incredibly well made. It's fun for old cosmic fans and new readers alike. Read Full Review
A great super hero story that is well planned, well written, and well drawn. The only reason the score isnt higher is because it can be a little difficult to follow at times. Read Full Review
All in all an entertaining first outing, a solid reminder of the glory days of Annihilation Wave, Guardians of the Galaxy and Annihilators that will hopefully add more quality works to the cosmic landscape of Marvel. Read Full Review

Equal parts survival war story and explosive space-faring sci-fi tale, Annihilation Scourge: Alpha is an incredible nod to the Annihilation stories that came before it. Read Full Review

Wow! It's about to get real.
Negative zone is in a problems and i like it. It has good drive and so much action. Annihilus is a dick, but he is great for this kind of story. Very kind suprise.
I love Annihilus and Blastaar and I want them to become best friends forever.
This was a really exciting start to this event. I hope the one-shots are as good, if not better.
Richard Rider is back and Im riding wit em.
What I was expecting to be a rushed attempt by Marvel for sales by resurrecting a decade old classic story turned out to by a pretty decent comic, and yes, Matthew Rosenberg wrote it. The art is great and the story was a pretty funny and action packed romp through the Negative Zone. My main problem is that Annihilus is severely underpowered. Excited for those one-shots
Quite a good start, with lots of throwbacks to the good old days of Marvel Cosmic. Loving some of the bits and pieces here, though I wish that the execution would be a bit better. Still, it's only an introductory issue, which gives me good hopes for the event itself.
There are a lot of things to like about this continuation of the Annihilation premise. Rosenberg uses this introductory issue to show just how much of a threat the villain of the series will be. There is a lot of action and the story moves along at a pace that helps build tension. The issue opens with the aftermath of a devastating attack. Rosenberg starts us out trying to catch up to what is going on. Next, we join a battle in progress and see the villain force the main antagonist to run. Finally, the battle comes to us and we see the villains invade in a complete inversion of the opening. The art is done in a traditional Marvel house style. Although the book is not stylized and will not stand out, I found that I loved it. Blastaar is a chmore
It was OK. Did not grip me at all and the reveal at the end fell flat for me. Pass.
It was okay? At this point marvel just wants to regurgitate old ideas and play on fans nostiga. The first Annihilation was amazing, I think it's one of the best marvel stories ever. This one, not so much.
The "Blastaar & Annihilus play battlefield Odd Couple" prologue went on far too long for me.
