THE CHALLENGE OF THE GHOST RIDERS!
If the Avengers thought one Ghost Rider was tough to deal with, wait'll they see how many Spirits of Vengeance have just been unleashed by the King of Hell, Johnny Blaze! Including the craziest, most powerful Rider of them all...That's right, it's the Avengers vs. Cosmic Ghost Rider!
Rated T+
The art was great. The characters looks amazing and the action was really fun. Read Full Review
We're met at the onset by ages of former Ghost Riders. This opening spread is fantastic; littered with Spirits of Vengeance from various decades. There's 1950's Madmen Ghost Rider. Circus Ringleader Ghost Rider? Great Depression era newsboy with a baseball bat Ghost Rider. Oh shit! Is Ghost Rider wearing a turban? My only complaint with the hellish plethora is that each one of them has a traditional flaming skull and it reminds me how much I dislike the newest one's design. Read Full Review
I can't wait for next issue's conclusion and to see how this all shakes out and leads to the new Ghost Rider series. This issue really did a great job of moving the story along and also peeling back the curtain to get us wondering who the villain will be. Read Full Review
Avengers (2018-) #24 continues a really interesting story idea, and has fantastic art behind it. Read Full Review
Specific details with the background aside, this issue is the Avengers fending-off a threat against...themselves. A cool as the combat is, its not the sort of triumphant defense of the earth, the universe and more. That has made for some of the better stories history of the team. Hopefully, with this issue behind them, the team can start to focus on the actual business of protecting the earth. Read Full Review
Despite the story not really moving too much, you'd be hard pressed to find a more fun and frantic team up than Aaron's latest. Read Full Review
The Cosmic Ghost Rider has been sent to kill the Avengers while Johnny Blaze and Robbie Reyes are racing to see who is the Ghost Rider over all Ghost Riders. The Avengers will need to assemble to rescue Robbie from Hell. Read Full Review
Avengers #24 provides yet another superficial installment of writer Jason Aaron's run, underwhelming with a few cool fan service moments sprinkled throughout. If you've been waiting for this book to pick up steam... this isn't the issue for you. Read Full Review
I really love Cosmic Ghost Rider. And the story itself is pretty cool, too.
What I do love about this book is just how much is going on at the same time, and it kind of works without interfering with each other. Not just that, but it's been constantly really good (with a couple of hiccups here and there, but overall it's been really good).
It's a Jason Aaron comic so it's fun. A bit drawn out but still entertaining. The art was great too. It's Caselli so of course it's great!
Lot better than the past few issues
great book the only thing that doesn't work for me personally is i can't stand the cosmic ghost rider
Well, Jason Aaron is a great writer and his Avengers’ run has been stellar. His run has been full of daring ideas, but he hits a bump here. Your enjoyment of this issue will be directly proportional to how big a fan you are of Cosmic Ghost Rider. I’m not.
Not a bad story by any means, and the Johnny Blaze King of Hell storyline i interesting. Robbie Reyes and his car are not that interesting too and the character continues to be a B lister, with the potential to break out, which is what this story is probably going to do.
Good, but not as good as Aaron’s run so far.
This was less good than I expected, tbh.
Avengers 24 had way too much talking by Cosmic Ghost Rider for my liking in what turned out to be a very uneven issue. The fight between Cosmic Ghost Rider and the Avengers was wordy and way too stretched out yet beautiful drawn and packed with spot-on humor. The good news is, this issue finally makes Robbie and Johnny’s race feel fun and important. Good issue but still a ton of room for improvement in my opinion
" Gamma Lightning. Suck on that, skeletor ! "

Setting aside the question of whether you think Cosmic Ghost Rider is the bee's knees or a try-hard Deadpool-squared type, structurally, his whole tussle with the Avengers is just a misunderstanding brawl. It even doubles down by refusing its first shot at a resolution -- they can't team up until a whole issue's worth of pages are filled.
It was a pretty fun read but kind of distracring from the main ghost rider story.
I don't get it. I love Jason Aaron's writing. I love the Avengers. But this arc is... really boring. I literally had to force myself to keep reading.
