Rated T+
Classic Daredevil/Kingpin action with a twist for both Fisk and Murdock. Read Full Review
It's a strong issue with an unexpected twist at the end - and it'll have you wondering how DD can ever move back to the hero side of the equation again. Read Full Review
Daredevil #596 is a great superhero comic book; the creative team made this issue a lot of fun and brought out some very interesting story points that will have definite repercussions as this storyline continues. I have not heard a lot of people talking about this Daredevil run, and if you haven'tbeen reading it, you should. Soule has been doing an excellent job since taking over when it relaunched, and there has been a great rotation of artists. Read Full Review
Daredevil Comics have always balanced a tightrope between stunning Superhero Action mingled with Courtroom Drama. This dichotomy is the basis upon why he has been such a successful character for so long. He catches the Criminals and then makes sure to prosecute them to get them off the streets. This story weaves in the three main elements of a great Daredevils story seamlessly. Read Full Review
The first issue was heavy on the dialogue and lighter on the action. There is nothing wrong with this approach, especially when the back and forth is a well-written word tussle between Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Mayor Wilson Fisk. Issue 596, though, explodes with excitement as Daredevil finds himself on the wrong side of the law in Fisk's New York City. We see Murdock and law enforcement in true crisis mode, trying to make sense of a peculiar set of orders regarding the Man Without Fear. As emergency orders demand, everyone has to act and react with no time to catch their breath. In real time, the comic can't be covering more than a ten minute time period and that pace is felt by the reader. Read Full Review
Despite having a fairly succinct plot, Daredevil #596 is a compelling chapter in the saga of the Man Without Fear. He is being chased and brought low by his worst enemy, and now that enemy has the law on his side. Mayor Fisk is showing itself to be a promising arc for Matt Murdock, and I look forward to what follows. This one gets a recommendation. Give it a read. Read Full Review
This is another issue that felt just a little forced at the beginning, but once you turn into the slide just a little bit it can be quite enjoyable. It really comes down to the cliffhanger. Lately Soule has really been delivering interesting cliffhangers again. I wouldn't mind a long story line with this status quo continually being the underlining plot going forward. Read Full Review
The series seems to be veering towards a more '80s-inspired aesthetic, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Read Full Review
Politic arc i love it
That twist at the end… oh boy this gonna be good!
Kingpin vs Daredevil never gets old, but I guess they’re partners now? That’s right, newly elected Mayor Fisk calls Matt at the DA office and offers him to become deputy mayor after his Supreme Court victory- and Matt says yes! Of course Matt is just trying to take Fisk down from the inside but Soule has entered unknown territory in the history of Wilson Fisk vs Daredevil
Mayor Fisk draws a police dragnet around Daredevil, but that's nothing compared to his plans for Matt Murdock. Charles Soule starts with a thrilling chase and enhances it with a host of impressive callbacks and foreshadowings. Stefano Landini does a sterling job following the rapid pace and providing impressive scenery, and his character stylings evoke a terrific Eduardo Risso vibe. It's a great story on its own, and the solid tie-ins to important characters from earlier in this volume add so much depth that this issue easily lands in all-time great territory.
Really good book. The art was fantastic. The colors, the figures, the scenery all looked amazing. The story was action packed and was a lot of fun. This to me feels like a classic comic from back in the day. Awesome feel and look. Great job!
Art: 3/5
Story: 3.5/5

Nothing special this time around, can't say that I'm a fan of the police helicopters being equipped with sonic blasters, but I guess it is the Marvel universe... The cliffhanger is totally unexpected and has me excited.
