The rushed pacing and villain that felt more like a plot device than a character hurt it, but the awesome artwork and colors balance the equation. The first four issues of this relaunched title were very strong, so a blip like this issue shouldn't be enough to discourage you from checking the series out. Plot
Daredevil speaks with Detective Dominic, who explains that Omen's lair contained many photos of Matt Murdock and his friend Foggy Nelson. Daredevil heads to Foggy's apartment, as does Detective Dominic.
Daredevil confronts Omen, who explains that they were revived by "angels," but before revealing everything, he pulls out a gun, and Detective Dominic kills him.
The comic ends with Foggy and Nelson catching up.
As an epilogue, it shows that someone steals Omen's body on the orders of the millionaire Harlan Vale, the same man who mysteriously hired Matt to teach at the university.
This comic concludes this arc, but with more questions than answers, leaving us hoping that Omen's origin will soon be more -

For a series with this amount of decompressed storytelling, the ending of this arc felt rushed and incomplete. It's obvious that Phillips was just setting up a greater arc with this first one, but the way it is done leaves the reader puzzled and unsatisfied. I expected more horror and some kind of revelation.
Garbett's art is fine, but I really get the feeling that he's not using his full potential. I certainly don't appreciate all the empty space and overly large panels that make these issues such a quick read. -

Huh?
it's supposedly the end of an arc, but the resolution leaves so many questions hanging that it makes no sense as is, and frankly after 5 issues, I don't even care anymore. The way it is now, Omen's motive makes zero sense, nor how easily he was disposed of. -

This feels really blanc to me. Like you read an issue and by the end of it you feel like you haven't read anything. I'm sure it will make more sense in a TPB but asking $4.99 for this issue is a serious crime.
