Great art by Jim Cheung.
But I think Scott Snyder shouldn't handle cosmology.
Because he only connects his stories with METAL, the Omega Titans were too similar to the celestials and his sci-fi beyond METAL feels a little weak.

Tom King or Grant Morrison should be handling what comes from outside the Source Wall.

I never cared about Venom that much to pick up the main book. I've tried the Remender's and Bunn's runs in TPBs after they were done, I've tried the Costa's run to no avail , as it was awful at times. But seeing that this time it's going to be run by Cates and Stegman, it was a no brainer to try at least the first couple issues, as these two are some of my favourites in the industry. And what a sh more

It has definitely improve from the last issue, but many of the same problems are still there. I just don't feel like I'm reading anything in the rebirth continuity, it looks more like an Elseworlds story (Which by the way would be better).

In the end, this isn't a BAD story but it isn't a great one either which what it should be considering the material and the amount of HYPE it got. I more

THE MIGHTY THOR #700,
is a spectacular piece of art (by many "wonderful" artist) that pays homage to the designs of Jack "King" Kirby, modernizing them to this new age of comics. As for the story, we have to thank Jason Aaron that managed to take advantage of the great artist helping him in this project, the result is a superb story featuring The Mighty Thor, The Unworthy Thor (Odinson), The more

ICE CREAM MAN,
"It is now an Ice Cream Man" is basically the premise here (at least for now) but the comic book doesn't fail to establish it's own personality, tone, and argument. ICM establishes characters marvelously (Detective Hwan, Byron, etc.) and shows the beauty of Weirdness. After reading the first issue I am absolutely sure that I'm going to read the next one as soon as it comes. more

DAMAGE,
is an overall acceptable story. It does suffer from many genre cliches (a jealous ex-partner, the obvious, villainous government amidst others) and an undeniable familiarity with THE HULK so while I am hopeful for The New Age of DC Heroes this is, an underwhelming start for the new line of DC heroes.

Batman and Wonder Woman's relationship is put to test in this issue of Batman, though the story in this comic book feels somewhat lacking and in direct contradiction with the Bat-Cat engagement Tom King's writing is still very much respectable and Joelle Jones's art is endearing.
