I agree in many ways with Linkush, this isn't a real ending and I was flipflopping on if I was completely satisfied with it. Hopefully it will be all wrapped up completely in Batman/Catwoman (especially since Gotham Girl is supposed to marry Duke by the end of his run, and that doesn't happen here). However as a celebration of this run I couldn't be more happy. Allegories out the wazoo with the fo more

Greatest Batman run ever. Can't wait for the Batman/Catwoman mini series.

Strange that alot of peole think this is some kinda ending, cause its not... we have only been told just over 85% of the story.

So yeah, a lot of people have been writing sloppy reviews and should probably stop and think before they go blabbering on about workings they can barely understand.

There is a lot that I liked about this issue. I liked the twist ending of Thomas shooting Bruce and Bane. I hope Bane is dead but I doubt that will happen. The fight between Batman and Bane was good. Loved Catwomans part in it. It was cool how they tricked Bane into fighting fair only to double cross him. Wicked cool. I loved how it appears I was right about it really being all Thomas's show and t more

One of the best issues in all King's run

Art:10/10 Janín and Bellaire at their best.

Writing: It's ok, it's good and the motivations of Thomas Wayne have logic, he can save a person who he loved, yeah we don't know how he survived but that situation doesn't make the book a bad comic book, at least for me, the dialogues between Bruce and Thomas feels good. 10/10.

A twisted father/son camping trip. It doesn't stand much ground on it's own as it is very light in story length, but as part of the arc it is very atmospheric and the reveal at the end was pretty crazy. I love that Thomas Wayne used his skills as a surgeon and also that he can't stop singing while being with his unconcious son.

The art is some of Janin's best to date. Absolutely gorgeou more

This issue is awesome. Everything that I love, maybe it is verbally showing what he was doing during all the run but he has to speed up to go Hollywood (because dc send only the worst, like... ? @Hi! I'm TP your PS at the end of the review still stands. It does not sound like you are saying "maybe" therapy will work for you. In essence you confuse me, since you contradict yourself. You're also putting words in my mouth when you say I said Therapy is useless, again this is not a black and white issue. To be honest I think Therapy works for the majority, putting me on the side of Therapy. Just because it didnt work for me doesnt mean it wont help you.

Æther - Jun 1, 2019

I would never tell someone not to go to Therapy. However I sure as hell won't tell em all thier problems would be solved either. Infact it was that sort of attitude that made Wally feel so isolated, cause it wasnt helping him... at the end of the day, the only person that can fix you... is you.

In the quest to get Bruce Wayne to hang up the cape and cowl, Thomas Wayne is going to have to use a little tough love. Only, not all the muscle behind it will be his own.

The parallelism between this book and the issue #19 is undeniable, even the story itself lets you see it, as I said before, in this run, at least for me, the art is not a problem, this week Janín and Fornes did a great job, the action panels were good and the story flows pretty well.

It's not a bad thing to have a lot to tie up. I personally think he has the tools, skills, and the knowledge to tie it up nicely for those of us who do enjoy his writing.

Darkseid24 - May 5, 2019

You could be right with Psycho Pirate, but nothing was shown in the story yet& it would be nice, if King gave us these explanations. I personally think Psycho Pirate is a lame villain& I don’t know, why King treats D villains better than the A villains. I also think Bane controlled or rather used the villains way better in Knightfall. Not to mention, that each villain had a great storyline back then. They were portrayed as a real threat, but like a big joke in Kings run. There are many flaws.
