The book was okay. Nothing to get excited about. I do hope that Babs is not a part of it for long. I totally dislike her character or them as a couple. I've always thought they fit better as sort of brother sister team rather then a couple. I found the whole Alfred being super rich and leaving his money to Dick unbelievable. If the was to leave his money to any of them I feel it would've been Jaso more

Oh I'm not saying that Jason and Babs would make a good couple at all.NO NO NO !!! I don't like Babs at all and don't want her with any of the Bats. I thought was totally gross when they paired her with Bruce. Gross on so many levels !!! I'm not even sure why you thought I wanted Jason with Babs. But no I'd like him with Artemis also

I felt exactly the same, if it hadn't been Alfred in the letter it would have been something beautiful. But Taylor I don't know why I'm exaggerating so much on that.

Mingthemerciless - Mar 4, 2021

Future didnt really interest a lot of DC readers and it's probably fair to say it was too late for DC to change this issue away from the FS storyline its hinting at. But from what I'm hearing Tynion has been given the Batverse to oversee and hes clearly not up to the task. Batman is my favorite character and I waited for Snyders final run then Kings abysmal run to end so that I could start enjoying the book again. DC gave it to Snyders protege who has not even a fraction of the talent to fix it

A satisfying ending offering phenomenal art once more. Onomatopoeia added some nice comic-relief all throughout this pretty grim-looking Issue, while never feeling out of place. This Issue ties up some loose ends and establishes where Dark Detective takes place in the framework of FS. It seems as if the Future State timeline DC published isn't quite accurate, which most readers already guessed.

The first issue did fantastic job setting up the tone, main plot and a final twist. This one offers more emotion, and while of course there's a lot of action sequences here, they're not what I found the most, or even more entertaining about it. It's the main characters' personal struggles, hopes and fears, that drive this comic and make it something truly special.

Definitely, which is why I think the story tried to do too much. It just becomes a hindrance to the cause rather than a help, because it's not well done on its own to the point where I don't think a gender-fluid person would get much out of it. (Although, I will admit there is a noted phenomenon where sometimes when people learn new terms and language, that helps them to come to terms with their identity, so maybe it'd be helpful in that regard.)

Psycamorean - Feb 17, 2021

And on top of that, because it's just a shoddy piece of writing, reactionaries are going to use it to say, "See, look at how bad politics is in comics! SJWs gross!" which is really unfortunate. Although I doubt they'd have a different reaction if it was deftly written, they'd be less able to use it to get people outside of their circles to rally against it and flock to the comicsgate crowd or whatever.
