This little break from the main story was a little over the top for me, although it did have its moments

I’m not sure why the low reviews. I’m not sure what people are expecting. I thought it was exciting and entertaining to see Polaris come into her own.

This is phenomenal art, as well as a compelling start to this story

I think this is really great and I don’t understand the lukewarm response to it. This issue is the start of something new yet not new, that Hickman fans should be hyped about. Bryan hitch delivers lots of cool 2-page spreads, to boot.

Fun storyline. Underrated, apparently.

Very satisfying. Not sure why this is clocking in at 7.5. Been a lot of fun reading these issues with Deadpool in it.

Jason Aaron’s Avengers tests me sometimes, but I’m very much enjoying what’s currently happening.

Really disappointed by this. Most of Devil’s Reign has been exceptionally better than most comic events, but this one is just a throwaway. I won’t be continuing this one.

Underrated! Cool storyline. Fun art. Really captures the Octavius we’ve known and hated. And it’s important to the Devil’s Reign storyline.

Great conclusion. No idea why it got a lower rating than the rest. I LOVED this book. Wish it was canon

I don’t love this but I don’t hate it the way many of your seem to. Importantly, I can see where the importance of this in the overall Krakoan storyline and so I think maybe that’s why.

This is so good. It’s not going to be for everyone but it’s positively original and exciting and fun. Less old school horror than Immortal, more like a new sci-fi-horror action story. Love it.

So underrated. This issue was just amazing on every front, story, art, etc. Makes me said this run comes to an end soon.

Outstanding. Totally original direction. This is one of Cates’ wildest tales yet. I can’t wait for more.

Marauders is consistently one of the best of the new X-Books. It’s highly entertaining and satisfying, and gorgeously illustrated.

Easily one of the best X-books in the Krakoan age. The writer is creating a world wherein Nightcrawler can grapple with society and morality, but not in the usual pathetic, Christ figure way he has been written in the past. It’s a highly entertaining and multi-dimensional story that includes genuinely funny moments. Great book.

I thought it was a little awkward at the start but was pretty good overall. Definitely moves the big picture forward.

Extraordinary issue. I don’t know how this is anything below a 9. When’s the last time anyone dug back to Wolverine’s Frank Miller stories?

I was excited, after all the rave reviews. And I’m a LeMire fan. But the jokes are flat, and if you’re not a regular dc reader, it’s an awful lot of stuff you’re not connected to— the whole “Metal” storyline, for example. I guess this is really for silver age dc fans or something. Not my cup of tea.

Ah yeah terrific chapter after the unexpected sadness of a turn in the story. Love this comic. Love the new X-Books

Easily the most exciting thing happening in the Empyre event.

This issue is fantastic. This writer and artist are prefects paired, and the writer manages to get so much into this one issue. I’m pretty blown away by how good the X-books are overall, and this one comes in and instantly inserts itself as among the best.

This series was excellent. So underrated.

Under-rated! Liberty gives these characters humanity. They are touching and funny in between the action. I am enjoying it immensely.

I love this comic, and this issue is great.

How did this get lackluster reviews? It's another fun, heartwarming story.

Hickman's Avengers and New Avengers are easily the best Avengers comics in decades, possibly ever, IMO. I didn't think Hickman could top his work on Fantastic Four, but boy, was I wrong. I'm surprised it's not higher in user ratings.
