Vengeance of the Moon Knight (2024) #4 Apr 3, 2024

Perfection or the closest it will ever get. You get your moneys worth and so much more. The main Conan comic story was fantastic. The short story by Jim Zub was incredible. The Solomon Kane story was great as well. I truly enjoyed everything in this mag, articles and all. Do yourself a huge favor and pick this book up. I can’t wait for the next issue.

Fuck the reviewer GhostDemon

What a great start to a wild series! The art is incredible. The line work is super clean and very fitting for the story. The coloring is fantastic. The plot is great and the writing/dialogue is as well. Definitely pull worthy and can’t wait to see what happens next!

Sirens of the City (2023) #4 Oct 21, 2023

I liked the issue but not a fan of the ending. I don’t care how clever you may think it is.

This is a really hard issue to review/rate. The art is absolutely fantastic imo, great line work and just pure eye candy. The coloring is also top notch. The writing is pretty good but the plot is weird and doesn’t really give us much yet. I feel this is a comic that will be better reviewed/rated as a whole than as it’s individual parts. There was definitely enough for me to like in the issue to purchase the next one or two but if the next couple are the same without much answers, I may have to drop it.

This series is off to a great start. Fantastic art, writing, and plot. The coloring is really awesome as well, cool to see books try and do different things. Added this to the pull.

Not as strong as the 1st issue but still a very good issue! I’m really loving this series, I recommended buying it and jumping right in!

I really love this series. There’s so much to like. Things are really starting to hit the fan with this issue! This was a brutal issue. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

The artwork is horrendous.

Daredevil going to hell to free his loved ones' souls, fighting demons. This shit is corny af. I really loved everything Zdarsky was doing up until this issue. Good fuckan grief. I gave it a 5/10 because the art is 10/10.

Comics truly don’t get better than this. The writing is great. The art is great. I laughed out loud the whole issue.

I really enjoyed this book. Fantastic art and colors. The plot and writing is great as well. They give you a good introduction for the character and it’s a really fun one shot. Hopefully we get more Masumi like this.

Another great issue. The humor, plot, writing, art, and coloring is fantastic. The next issue can’t come soon enough!!

It’s more like an 8.5 but that 4 is fuckan bonkers. It’s a nice start to a slasher comic. A couple cool kills. The art is pretty good and the writing is real good.

Great issue, things really start to get chaotic in this issue. Art was good and writing is real good.

Brutal as can be and everything gets real chaotic. Definitely a page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I really love this take on a slasher type media. It was a lot different than what I was expecting but in a good way. There is a ton of loose ends but I don’t think this will be the last we see of Harrower. Very solid series.

Great art and writing. It’s so fuckan funny. If you like the show, you will love this book!

I really love this series. It’s such a bummer more people don’t know about it. The art, coloring, writing, and story are all fantastic. It’s basically a Serbian cop drama that’s about corruption and human trafficking. I can’t wait for the last two issues!

I enjoyed this for the most part. The art is great when it’s involving the superheroes/villains/space. The art can be a bit weird when it’s just normal people tho but I still really like it. The writing is hit or miss. Definitely good enough to pick up another issue imo

Best issue of the series so far. The art was great, the coloring was great, and the writing was great. I can not wait for the next issue!

I thought this was a fantastic 1st issue. The premise, art, coloring, and inking are all top notch. I’m really excited to see where this series goes!

A really fun cop drama with a nice twist.

Very meh. I mostly enjoyed the series but I feel the ending was very anticlimactic. I really could not care less about Maria or the new surprise at the end. It’s just very “weird” lol

Better than the first issue. Art is pretty cool and the colors were better. No much writing but it’s decent enough. Kind of a slow build and pretty mysterious.

I feel like this is the best issue so far, still a bit of a slow burn but shit is about to hit the fan. The character designs are awesome for the all women Militia. The coloring was the best in this issue. Still pretty mysterious but it does leave you wanting more. Excited for the next issue.

Great art and writing. The plot is a lot of fun. Really excited to see where this goes.

Ridiculously hilarious and immature. The writing and art is fantastic. I can wait for issue 2!

Great comic. The writing and art is fantastic. I had a smile on my face the whole time. The ending/cliff hanger was a bit weird but I’m excited to see where this creative team takes this book.

Pretty cool Concept. The art and writing could be better. I don’t feel it was interesting enough for me to buy #2

The art is incredible. I do like the where the story is going but the dialogue/writing can be a bit much at times. Just feel like they’re trying too hard or something.

Eight legged freaks! Need I say more?

What a horrifyingly beautiful book this is. There’s a few great captions along the way but It’s mostly just amazing art that will make your skin crawl, stick with you for awhile, and probably even haunt your dreams. It’s definitely the type of art that will keep you coming back to check out the details and see what you missed the 1st time. The quality of the actual book is nice too, it’s a BIG book, both size and number of pages. Big thick paper. A stunning cover. I really feel this is a steal for the price. I would love to see a collaboration with Junji Ito. Anyways, pick this book up, I couldn’t recommend it more.

I hate to be so negative but this comic feels so damn soulless. The art is passable but too kiddie for a horror comic and not at all scary. The writing is awful, it’s just not how people talk to each other or in general. With so many great horror comics out currently, stay far away from this one.

I really dig the setting of the story. It seems like a really cool world. The art is pretty good but it doesn’t go with the coloring of the 1st issue imo, would like to see more contrast and just colors in general. I am interested/invested enough to pick up the next issue to see where it goes!

Giving this book a ten to offset the ridiculous 4's. This particular issue is more like a 7.5 range. I found it very enjoyable. Not the strongest of the series but still a very solid issue. Jed just GETS Moonie.

It was an okay ending to a rather great event in my opinion. This final issue felt very anti-climatic and just a bit of a bummer. The ending really made this whole event feel like filler. I am interested to see where the mutants and eternals go from here at the very least.

This issue is way to pretentious and trying to be something it's not. Very very strange issue.

The prose in this book is absolutely amazing. It will give you goosebumps, chills, and make your skin crawl! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes horror! I docked a point just because there's not very much art and it's a bit random. Great art though!

That's it, I am declaring this the best run on the character EVER. What a trip it has been with Zodiac. I really can not wait to see how it all unfolds next issue. Moonie is about to lose his shit.

The 1st story was fine overall but the art and "coloring format" clashed too much and was far too messy at times, making it hard to make out what's going on. The writing didn't help explain much either tbh. It was fine but I expected FAR better from these two and am quite disappointed. The 2nd story was far superior than the first imo and in every way. The art and writing is fantastic and all the call backs to the Ellin/Shalvey run were amazing. The banter between Spidey and Moony and the humor, love it! 3rd story was also fantastic and my favorite. The 3rd story to me is everything Moony is and all about. It's a nice spinoff to the regular ongoing. I feel the art in this story was the best for this "color format" and the writing was great as well. All in all, I feel it was a solid 8/10. I just had to take away points from the 1st story as I found it so disappointing.

This series continues to be amazing. It always leaves you with wanting more. I can't wait to see how everything comes together in the next 2 issues.

Jed MacKay does NOT miss. The writing is so superb in this issue. It's unreal. The art is a little off putting at first but I really enjoyed it in the 2nd half of the book. It doesn't seem to have much to do with the actual event but dammit it's one hell of a self contained Moonie issue.

I went in reading this expecting to absolutely hate it. I can't even lie, I really enjoyed it. The art is amazing and the real star imo. The Punisher is as brutal as ever so I am glad that worry has been put to rest. I really hope he eventually goes back to the iconic skull vest, would be nice if this ends up being a big F U to all the tools using his symbol trying to make it their own. I will hold my judgement for some of decisions that seem weird until they play out. Frank is always best as a loner and I have a feeling he has a plan to try to destroy all of the hand, we know it wont happen or stay because comics. I also don't know how to feel about the reveal at the ending.

I am once again here giving my ridiculously biased opinion and review. This issue is absolutely bonkers and I mean that in the best way possible. The art is fantastic as always with the writing to match. This is shaping up to be one of the best and most essential runs of Moonie's existence. I truly hope the show is this good. I would go more into detail about this issue but I would much rather you buy it and support this fantastic comic.

I really dig this issue. The art/coloring is superb. The contrast between light and dark and the shadows are amazing in this book. I feel the writing was pretty good as well but the art is the real star imo. It definitely left me wanting more. I'm excited to see how this story unfolds in Cap.

I'm obviously extremely biased but I really love this rendition of Moonie. I think the other issues were stronger but this issue is still great. The writing and art is great as always. I love the character development of Badr. I'm really excited to see where this series goes and hope we get a nice long run.

I enjoyed the writing but this is really just a big setup/promotion for Devil's Reign. I had to dock a few points for the absolutely atrocious art.

Another great issue. The writing is superb and the art is just as good.

Another great issue. Jed MacKay really gets Moon Knight and writes him so damn well. The art is fantastic as well. I'm really excited to see where this series goes.

I really enjoyed this book. It's very dark and twisted. I can't wait to see where they go with this.

This book is wild.

Another great issue!

What a bummer. You were building up to this? A temporary power up? COP OUT. Cates really can't finish a series strong to save his life.

I like Cates but man does he have this amazing super power of starting a comic series/run off SUPER STRONG and it ALWAYS fizzles out. I hope he gets it together.

Another great issue and page turner. The art remains fantastic and so does the story! I'm ready for the next two issues to see how they wrap it all up.

Another solid issue. Things are really starting to ramp up. I'm excited for the next issue.

Damn, this one hit too close to home but what a great comic. Do yourself a favor and read it.

I really enjoyed this new series. A great cyberpunk book. I really love the colors, story, and art.

Great follow up to the first issue. I cant wait to see how this story plays out!

I really enjoyed this book. A lot of cool and interesting stuff going on. It's a shame a lot of people cant get their hands on the first issue. They need to figure out something better.

Great start to the series. The art and story are great so far. Lots of mysteries, I am excited to see how it all unravels.

Such a beautiful comic. The art and colors in this book are so stunning. The story is pretty good too, it does a good job teaching you a bit about Japanese myths/legends. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in Japanese culture or who love Peach Momoko's art.

Declan Shalvey is great at everything he does. The pencils, inks, colors, and story are all great in this issue.

Great ending to a great series. Do yourself a favor and pick up the whole series.
