This issue is a near flawless continuation of what is becoming a Must Read for fans of suspense and horror and one I'd eagerly recommend for anybody to give a try.

Would I say this book is fun? Does a Bear-Fighter poop in the forest?! If you're a reader that likes their action big and not taking itself too seriously, you'll love this! I'd bet my shirt on that.

A great start of a new tale of 34RTH's most dysfunctional Jobsdamned hero, full of great character moments, jokes and a big start to the main adventure plot. This book is one for all mature (of age) fans looking for something fun and off the wall.

Overall this is another excellent issue which sticks to the titles strengths of comedy through character as well as advancing the main story.

The high point of this chapter so far that is set to lead into a surprising and ‘Timely' conclusion. This series is a Fun, Witty and oddly human science fiction comedy that I'd urge any mature aged reader to pick up.

Along with its irreverent wit and quirky storytelling, D4VE's current adventure is ended with quite a lot of heart that concludes proceedings brilliantly.

This issue was a great ending to this first chapter and I will continue to recommend this book for those in the mood for a fun and clever read.

While the main story may only seem to be beginning, this issue offers laughs, action, inventive new characters and a lot of intrigue going onwards. Oh and there's a Bard, Did I mention the Bard?

An enticing science fiction mystery with awesome characters and artwork. If this doesn't bring you back, the brilliant cliff-hanger in the final pages will.

This issue was a straight up focus on the main characters yet none the worst for it, it drops enough intriguing titbits to keep your interest in the central mystery. A great start to this series so far has left me very optimistic about the books continuing quality (Yet a tested creative team such as this doesnt hurt), eagerly awaiting issue number 3.

More World building and character work here yet masterfully paced and entertaining for that. What hints we get towards the main plot are very interesting and should compel most readers to continue the book for the duration (Me most definitely included).

This issue sees the first major turn in this enthralling, tense and thought provoking thriller, along with its excellent art team these qualities put Injection up with the very best of the medium's current output.

Yet another slice of witty, science fantasy thriller from Ellis, Shalvey and Bellaire that makes a great beginning to the books second chapter. A must read.

The art team once again live up to the high standard they've set on the series so far. Quite a lot of Declan Shalvey's panels feel like freeze frames of a live action movie from a master cinematographer. The efficiency of action he shows (knowing just how much gap the readers imagination will fill) is also of note in this issue. Bellaire's colours shine here also with the shaded orange glow emanating from Robin's workshop setting off the wonderful Shalvey art on the issue's cover. Her soft hued backgrounds and excellent shading make her work an unmissable element in the quality of the book.This month's Injection is full of wit, whimsy and intrigue and a delightfully complex and fun narrative makes this one of must read books of any month on which it falls.

This issues story may be connective tissue but no less tasty, if you haven't tasted this ham yet do yourself a favour and grab a slice of this intelligent and witty Science Fiction Thriller.

This is a masterful start in both story and visuals. Full of dry wit and mystery, this book will leave readers in suspense for this new storyline.

You'll find yourself easily hooked by this excellently written first issue with solid and gorgeous art. I urge anybody to put it on their list and check it out.

This second issue continues an action packed, clever and dare I say festive (I doth dare!) action adventure for those who love to believe in a Christmas hero. Highly recommended.

A solid and entertaining continuation of The Santa's crusade to bring light back to Yuletime, A joy to read.

Offering up a traditional yet epic origin tale, this second act ends with a brilliantly constructed and paced issue full of new turns for the characters.

Less action more character this month but all the better for it. This crossover has been fun throughout but this issue is where it shows its strong foundation and heart.

Overall this issue is brilliant spotlight on the D.J.D. and a kick off to what should be a very tense new storyline for the Lost Light crew.

A feel good and funny tale of friends and forgiveness in yet another great slice of life aboard The Lost Light. Yet with the Decepticon Justice Division hunting them down how long before that happiness is shattered.

The first part in what so far is a very enjoyable and intriguing mystery side story. Eager to see what emerges next week.

Finishing off this two part sci-fi adventure, this issue was a ton of fun with some great character building storytelling.

A fun character based story done in the high concept way that this book is great at. This not only a fun story in itself but could be re-read just to get all the references, you'll have to add your own laugh track mind.

A wonderful diversion like only the Lost Light can take that shall enrich the upcoming storylines.

Even in this slow build up to the big issue 50 storyline this book remains one of the cleverest comics (especially for one based on alien robots that turn into stuff and shoot each other) on the shelves right now. This issue was a lot of fun, so hopefully The Scavengers who have rode off into the sunset for now will not be gone for long.

A turn for the dramatic this month but not at all out of character. This issue is tragic and compelling in equal measure and will leave you hankering for next month to the see the aftermath.

With the tension ramping up very quickly towards the pivotal 50th issue, this month sees the action and drama turn up several notches while still in keeping with the series characterisation and style. A great issue which bodes well for the rest of this storyline.

As a climax to last issue this story this feels rushed in order to set up for next month's milestone issue. Yet this still is a highly enjoyable and above average issue (if still not up to the books higher standards) and still well worth your time.

In this 50th issue anniversary tale the More Than Meets the Eye team give new twist in the ongoing saga that will reverberate for not only in the continuing story but for the rest of the series going forward. MTMTE remains the ultimate example of how a licensed property can still be written with passion and ingenuity.

A brilliant and surprising continuation to The Dying of the Light storyline which sets up well for further issues.

A very promising, interesting and well told first issue that sets the stage for what promises to be an enthralling action, thriller.

The action, intrigue and wit continue in this second issue of what looks to be becoming a worthy sequel to the incredibly well received Last Stand of The Wreckers.

Overall this issue is a pivotal and thought provoking instalment in this highly enjoyable miniseries.

This issue is equal parts hauntingly tragic, complex and action packed. It should be a delight for any IDW TF fan, who will be eagerly awaiting the conclusion to come.

A very strong start to what looks to be a fun and adventurously nostalgic book to come.

Mostly set up this month yet this early on with these many great characters to grow and know this no problem. Wonderful stuff this issue which will leave you eagerly awaiting the quest to come.

As ever this a wonderfully anachronistic yet at the same witty and charming book. Looking forward to seeing where the quest takes the gang from here.

Whilst the story has only just caught up with the action by the final pages of the book, The writing never feels as if it's going thru the motions. A great issue leading up to hopefully satisfying conclusion in the next weeks. To the Slaughter, Rat Queens!

This series continues to knock it out of the park with its brilliant and witty characters, surprising story turns and epic battles. Here's hoping the next big storyline can match such high quality.

With an excellent and well-fitting new art team aboard, this issue seems to be the start of yet another witty and action packed adventure for the Rat Queens. This is also a great starting point for new readers to hop on too, which I'd eager recommend to anyone.

Any fears that the strict adherence to release schedule and change of art team would have a poor effect on the quality of the book have again dismissed with yet another excellent issue. I for one am eagerly awaiting the next issue (and believe me I won't be alone).

A much needed breather this issue which is solid and fun nevertheless and will leave readers with yet more reasons to eagerly await issue 14 and the continuation of this chapter.

While still full of witty, irreverent fun, this issue sets up situations that could have dire and thrilling consequence for the Rat Queens.

While fans may be distraught at these events and affects this issue has on their Rat Queens, They will no doubt find this issue compelling, incredibly well written and an interesting turn for the future of the book.

While this issue merely setups up the main characters and conflict it does so with great effect and with a lot of character built in for a single issue. With two great writing talents behind it and excellently fitting art team, this a book I am very eager to continue reading.

This series continues to be a compelling of genre bending adventure. This issue forms an important part of an overall puzzle which I eagerly await to see whole.

Mostly Action this issue yet excellent paced and depicted with brilliant dialogue throughout. This mini-series remains an excellent dark steampunk adventure.

A tense and thrilling penultimate issue to this treat of a steampunk western series. I could not recommend this more and I'm eagerly awaiting next months final issue.

A visceral, tense yet highly gratifying ending to this excellent series by two writers who I hope work much more in the industry and an excellently fitting art team. Highly recommended to any mature readers who enjoy the Steampunk genre.

While this issue may take a little reading to fully catch up on, its a fun and well put together set up issue that promises of a fun and action packed story to come.

Wegener's art can described somewhat cartoon like yet it is perfect here as it allows the characters to remain dynamic and He imbues them with so much character and emotion with expressions and poses. His framing is wonderfully cinematic especially during the well-crafted action scenes. Anthony Clark's colour compliments the art with simple tones and straight forward shading that aides the speedy flow of the story. This issue tells a fast paced story full of wit and action and is worthy instalment in this must read series for all brands of readers.

Carrying this story directly into its no doubt action packed conclusion this issue's story is full of entertaining character work and action scenes that will leave you eager for the final issues.

This issue continues building up the pace and tension towards the conclusion. remains one of the most fun and easily read sci-fi adventures in comics today.

An excellent finale to this solid, all ages adventure that will leave you clamouring for more fun with the Robo crew.

A great issue with promising setup for more to come in this enchanting series.

Despite adding little overall plot in this second proper arc, this issue achieved lots of great foundation needed for what is still a very young book. Once again a very fun issue with promise of much more to come.

The issues story again is somewhat of filler yet with welcome world building and backgrounds. This book as ever is a sweet, enjoyable and (in the best possible way) easy read for all ages.

Once again a great start of what should be wonderfully strange new adventure for The Lumberjanes

I enjoyed this issue quite a lot and I'm looking forward to continuing with this adventure in the coming months.

Great adventure to be had as this second major arc in the Lumberjanes story comes racing towards its conclusion. For comic readers of all ages this is highly recommended.

A humorously fun and action packed finale to this current story arc told by excellent creative team. Lumberjanes is highly recommended family book for me and it looks to stay that way.

A smaller yet highly enjoyable start to a new tale this issue with lots of standout moments. As ever Lumberjanes stands out as one of the most high quality books for all ages on the market.

Lot of fun interactions and hijinks to had this issue. While I'd also suggest reading at least issue 18 first, I would happily recommend this to anyone for lively and fresh read.

This marks a fitting and touching ending to this more insular storyline. Well worth your time and money.

The fun continues in this charming and witty book for all ages as this issue starts a new adventure that offers new surprises, characters and expands the world of Lumberjanes.

A joyfully action packed and clever issueand did I mention Kittens with magical powers? No? Well that's a big thing here too. Fun for all ages in this gem of a book.

In back-up We have celebrated novelist Michael Chabon (The Yiddish Policeman's Union, The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Wonder Boys) penning Kawaii Five-O (with art by Gabriel B). This is much shorter piece at 5 pages per issue and is harder to pin down as far narrative goes. That said with creators like this on hand along with Peter's colouring it is no less stylish than its host. It reads like The Metanauts are extra dimensional dirty jobs men with some being famous in the ‘main' world. It is more than intriguing enough to capture readers imaginations while they are figuring out the full story.

An Incredibly Interesting take on the fantasy genre, well paced and full of Intriguing characters and plot turns, this issue is well worth a read and I look forward to the magic to come.

Ellis, Masters and Major have brought Ian Fleming's spy perfectly to a modern day set comic and I will be eager to see Mr. Bond return in Vargr part two.

This is an incredibly well paced spy thriller with excellent dialogue and structure all around. Well worth checking out for Bond fans and Non-Bond fans alike.

While only advancing this opening Vargr story a small piece, this issue remains a tense and action packed read wonderfully highlighting character and motivations for 007 and his foes.

An excellent, fast paced issue of the current Vargr arc, No Bond or spy action fan should fall into the trap of missing this series.

An action packed and tension filled step towards the end of this first Bond story from Dynamite, which is a must read for 007 fans.

A witty and action packed issue to kick off Ellis and company's brand new 007 arc, which expertly reveals the spectre of intrigue to come.

Had lots of fun with this the first issue in what seems to be a witty, odd couple, road trip comedy. Well worth a look to comic readers old and new.

A great original mini-series which is a funny slice of something a little different.

A wonderful yet unlikely buddy comedy road trip, this penultimate is issue is a great setup to what could be a very interesting finale.

A satisfying ending to this fun yet poignant series about growing up for yourself and not for rules you think are set out for you. Jared's story may be over on the comic page from here but I would love more work from this team in the future.

This darkly intriguing series continues in the issue with tone perfect reactions and discussions among the main characters. Compelling stuff yet it may lose those on the lookout for more action or a quicker pace.

This is a solid issue for action and drama that lays out many interesting plot threads for the future of the saga.

A high stakes action packed issue that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

An excellent penultimate episode to this Vengeance Story arc which sells the build up to next months definite ending. Compelling on several levels from beginning to end.

A wonderfully dramatic, action packed and well structured finale to this first part of what has so far been a epic retelling and expanding of Turtle lore. I for one hope there is much more like this to come.

This is a solid and efficient setup to this new era of IDW's Turtle title and many new storylines to come. Time will tell on the quality yet with Eastman, Curnow and Waltz still at the helm I am quietly confident.

While still a very enjoyable visit with characters that have been off the scene for a while, this new tale seems to be still in a shaky early stage after the closing off of so many rich story strands in issue 50.

A refreshing and well told setup to a new story that should continue to impact the overall saga.

This is a very enjoyable character driven adventure with an ending which will no doubt have an impact on the future of IDW's Transformers line. Definitely one to pick up you're following the post Cybertronian Wars TF books.

This book is great dip back into the Adult Swim show yet may not be best way to first experience of Rick and Morty's world.

Great book for fans of the show and more still with a surprisingly continuous storyline. Definitely a worthy read.

Again probably more for fans of the show yet still a very solid fun issue.

This is disjointed if still very enjoyable issue for fans of the Adult Swim series.

A darkly funny sci-fi thriller, Im looking forward to the continuing the story of the most dangerous burn-outs on the face of the earth.

A quiet issue yet with still interesting character beats, story set up, wonderful art and a big tease of an ending that will have most coming back in September.

This compelling, interesting (if sometimes too harsh and graphic in its satire possibly for some) and newly deemed ongoing series is exemplified in this issue along with the usually fantastic art from Martin Simmonds. I would recommend that anyone at least try this series to see if it fits their taste.

While full of action this month, this book may feel like it's becoming a little broad and going off the rails for now. Still it's as ever an exciting and interesting premise with simply eye-catching art, so for now I would stick with it to see the train takes us.

An intriguing new take on hell in this new book from the creators of D4VE. Mostly a set up issue this month yet full of fun, wit and tidings of bad yet very enjoyable things to come.

A fun stand-alone and well written read, which while it doesnt connect to the main story is a well worth a look for the casual reader and regular Lumberjanes fans alike.

A compelling sci-fi mystery that should interest any fan of Manga and the cyberpunk genre. Definitely one to keep an optic on.

This first issue was all setup, but a masterful setup. One to look out for and a mini-series that I will follow with great interest.

Still ramping up in this issue but this is where these sorts of thriller stories really live. I, for now, am really enjoying the ride. Well worth your time.

This issue could have done with more progression in the plot (This should quickly be resolved next issue) yet is still a quality read and worth your time.

It is still disappointing that the pace has not picked up a little more in this issue. This continues to be a very slow burn for a 6 issue miniseries. The real tell here is whether Ellis and his team will be able to hit a satisfying landing to finish up over the next 2 months.

Overall a tense political thriller with capes yet as this new story arc is merely building, well have to see if it can offer another great hook to keep itself running.

Overall it is harder to tell the tone of the book given it is more toned down and deliberate narrative compared to the other distinct Young Animals in Way's new Zoo. Despite this Cave Carson offers great characterisation and an intriguing direction I am happy to delve further into.

This opening issue has its issues with heavy exposition and mild tonal whiplash yet it is full great ideas and is a worthy setup for a fun adventure. It's definitely worth keeping with seeing if it recovers from these early missteps. Overall, a good issue with a lot of further potential for the ongoing series.

Righting its course from uneven beginnings just in time to rocket off to what from this this issue seems to be a fun sci-fi adventure. Worth a look to and easy and enjoyable read.

While not breaking the mold in any sense, this is a fun, witty Sci-Fi action adventure from an up and coming creative team that could rival a lot of the big publishers output.

The first thing you'll notice with Miguel Sepulveda's art is his talent in cityscapes and creating the sense of depth. The design of costumes and vehicles is clever yet not ridiculously advanced or over the top. The battle scene shown is good setup to establish Itto's skills. Colouring here is in the hands of Javier Mena who gives everything a textured paint look and works brilliantly with light sources and shadows. Also of note should be the excellent painted cover by Brian Kalin OConnell which helps tie the book back to its manga roots.

Thanks to a surprisingly character based approach and some unique and varied action scenes (in the hands of a solid art team), this book has continues to steadily grow in quality. I am now very eager to see how the tale ends in next month's final issue.

This chapter is a certainly a lull in proceedings in the Combiner Wars event yet sets up many interesting conflicts and promises much more to come.

Once again the story here is weakened by the demands of the Combiner Wars crossover and promotion. The final worth of this event will be judged on the ongoing consequences in the further Transformers continuity. Still this is an enjoyable, slightly above average issue.

A promising jumping point away from Combiner Wars and a decent focus on smaller conflicts.

While a smaller focused story full of explanation and setup, this never feels forced and stays within the voice of the characters. This issue leaves me with a lot of hope for the upcoming part of this Earth based story arc.

While action packed in places this issue is poorly setup on the human part of the storyline and this makes the stakes confusing. Despite this, story strands with Optimus, Soundwave and Cosmos hold a lot more promise for the continuing tale.

An action packed yet muddled, hit and miss issue this month. This storyline will need a satisfactory conclusion soon to keep all but the die-hard readers invested.

The gimmick this week makes for a much more fun issue of what is still mildly convoluted, overwritten if mostly still enjoyable storyline.

What makes for a good prologue to the intriguing and exciting new direction starting in next month is also makes a lacklustre conclusion to this current storyline. An ultimately disappointing issue propped up by some good character work and impressive art.

This anniversary issue expertly begins a new chapter in IDW Transformers saga and will renew the interest in all but the most jaded of fans of the series.

This story makes intriguing and creative turns this issue continuing the solid conceit set out in last month's 50th anniversary. This could make for a very interesting new era in IDW Transformers.

A fun and freaky start to this 10 issue miniseries yet time will tell if the books story can keep up with the shocks and strange situations to come.

A bit of a change in pace this issue which may need to pick up later to hold interest yet the quality of character interactions remain. One to keep an eye on.

So far this book is definitely keeping my interest and promoting critical thought and for that it is a worthy read. I'll be very interested to see where this one goes.

Still a lot of new ground and potential to explore in this title, but the pace seems to be treading water for now.

While the story is at last gaining momentum this still a very acquired taste. The next storyline should help dictate if it can gain any broader appeal.

An enjoyable story that introduces a lot of great characters to IDW but in and of itself is merely feels as if it is going through the paces to introduce new concepts and scope to the Transformers world.

Overall this book is becoming slightly bogged down in the Combiner Wars event yet has some nice (if at times unclear) action scenes and needs to focus more of on the political side as well as character interactions seen here (and possibly, maybe Windblade).

An enjoyable enough yet generic ending to this event. Time will tell if it was merely a serviceable narrative wrapped around toy marketing or something that will drive future storylines forward.
