Erica Slaughter can never rest. The dust of Archer's Peak has barely settled before the monster hunt takes her to a new town. And in Archer's Peak, life will never be the same; James struggles to put his life back together, while Tommy begins to think of a life outside the town he was raised in.
Something is Killing the Children started out strong and has only gotten stronger as the series has continued. I am deeply entrenched with this story and all of its many possibilities. This is a horror action epic full of engaging characters, terrifying monsters, and raw emotion. It's incredible. Read Full Review
Dell'edera does amazing work with the art. The story is character driven and the art reflects that through dynamic close ups and beautifully drawn panel progressions. A great looking issue. Read Full Review
Something is Killing the Children #7 is a tale of an awful bunch of events, with people who aren't heroic and who may even be awful themselves. It's tense and gripping, making you hope it works toward an ending because the deaths are so horrible you just want them to stop. It's visceral in every sense of the word, and awfully good at it too. This is another stellar installment from the team again. The art is consistent and shines the most when it comes to action in my opinion. Tynion continues to keep me theorizing on the beasts and the Slaughterhouse and on top of that now I'm looking forward to seeing how Erica and Aaron's story play out in the next issue! Something Is Killing the Children #7 is a dark issue, but it's also one loaded with intrigue. We've been shown that there's more to this world than meets the eyes, all while setting the scene for something larger (and arguably more dangerous) down the line. It's going to be fascinating to see where Erica's story leads next, and who will be involved along the way. Will characters introduced in the first arc make an appearance? Or will new characters take a lead? Only time will tell. Read Full Review

This is another great installment from Tynion and the team. Whilst James takes a backseat in this issue we are given more of Erica's backstory amidst more mystery with Aaron and the illusive Slaughtethouse. With the creatures still at large I'm looking forward to how the story continues next issue. Read Full Review
The House of Slaughter stuff is fascinating, and I love the tone of this series. After every issue I feel like I'm hungry for more of this world.
I like the spooky new guy tbh.
Bit by bit, we learn a little more about this monsters and this secret society.
Yeah, this is fine. I don't have strong feelings about it. It's a very standard comic that I've read many times before. I can't help it if that's no longer enough for me, and the writer's voice isn't strong enough to carry it.
