Barry puts his fleet feet in his mouth against the next Force wielder he meets! Introducing the new Strength Force user, Powerhouse: she's a young rebel using her powers to fight the corrupt police state in Corto Maltese. When Barry learns that she wants to use her super-strength to overthrow the government, he tries to intervene-and ends up tripping into a melee with the new hero instead.
In the end, despite the main villains not making any major plays at taking down Flash, or stealing a lot of Force energy (or whatever theyre actually supposed to be attempting to do), this was a fun issue that does exactly what this arc set out to do: inform the readers and Barry Allen about the Forces. Fuerza was a great way to dole out that information, and Williamson presented her in a manner that made you want to know more about her. Gemini arent really needed in this story, so far, but Williamson is probably taking them somewhere big. If only hed get there a little faster, because they are the worst part of a very fun story. Joshua Williamson and Rafa Sandoval introduce Fuerza in THE FLASH #60. This new character shows a real promising start in this issue. Hopefully, there will be many more to come with her! Williamson writes her impeccably and Sandoval's design is instantly eye-catching. Read Full Review
The Flash keeps staying on a good pace as one of DC's most reliable titles. Read Full Review
The story moves and doesn't get bogged down in the emotional gunk that plagued The Flash in previous stories. Instead, the writer taps into new characters to infuse meaning in the conflict and flush out the importance of the conflict to the human race. On this point, I am especially interested in Fuerza's character and if she's here to stay, and how she will continue to wield The Strength force to help others. I highly recommend that fans of The Flash pick up this book to see what new fact is learned about the new Forces. Read Full Review

Finally, the Flash decides to give us a really great issue. We get amazing character development, a proper introduction to a new villain, and some really incredible art. What more can you ask for? I'm happy to finally give this a great score instead of tearing this book apart. Read Full Review
Overall, though, this is the strongest installment of the "Force Quest" arc yet and continues to expand the mythology of the Flash universe in a fascinating way. And can we get Fuerza in a team book stat? Read Full Review
The only thing that doesn't really work for me is Powerhouse's costume design, which looks like a Green Lantern gone to hell. It's a small complaint but I think more time could have been used to develop it. That minor complaint aside, this is a good issue in a solid book. Read Full Review
The Flash #60continues the saga of "Force Quest", raising a few potentially interesting wrinkles into the purpose of the Forces, but not really resolving much of anything. Read Full Review
So far the Force Quest has been a rewarding one for Flash fans, and that delightful trend continues in Flash #60. Read Full Review
The Force Quest storyline is adding an interesting dimension to mythos of the Flash. The idea of Barry as one of a international team of Force avatars that protect the entire Earth opens a new world of possible stories for the Flash, bringing him out of Central City into the wider DCU more often. It will be fascinating to see where this all leads. Read Full Review

great book I have nothing negative to say about it all. I love the new character fuerza
"My name is Barry Allen"
I am enjoying this story arc a lot so far.
I've been saying this before and I going to say it again, it seems that Barry finally loosened up a little and he his at his best when he is like that. Thank you, Mr. Williamson.
The art is also great. That short sparring with Fuerza looked really good as did the other moments when she and Flash were using their powers.
Worth a read.
Was kind of annoying have text in Spanish instead of the usual words in English and editors note saying they are speaking Spanish. Art was pretty good and most of the dialogue was great. Made no sense why Harry would take off his make. Obviously he hasn’t learned his lesson from Godspeed or Meena when he told them who he really is. At least we are seeing what the trickster is up to. The ending felt forced, feel like Barry knowing it is the Sage force, is a bit of a stretch.
This series really is quite boring. Constant retreading, but through new and forgettable characters.
The new character is kind of interesting, but why does everybody speak such flawless English in this band of poor fugitives in a non-English speaking country? Also I still don’t like anything about this force quest plot.
