I don't know if anyone's noticed, but I love this series. Do yourselves a favour, buy it, read it, love it. Read Full Review
Alvaro Martinez Bueno has some great art in this issue. There's a dark tone to every page which works with the tone of the story. Read Full Review
It's mostly disconnected from the Year of the Villain events so far, but few books better capture the feel of the bad guys winning and the heroes fighting a losing war. Read Full Review
At the core of this series is a reverence for the dark fantasy and the vastness of magic. Tynion IV and Martnez Bueno have crafted an intricate tapestry that has given us a peek into the proverbial coffers, and I remain excited to see the next issue and the results of the coming storm. Sometimes it's all a matter of waiting for things to get worse. The end of everything is definitely bad, but the journey to that point can always end up a terror. Justice League Dark #15 put everyone right where they needed to be for things to kick off, and Circe's Injustice League Dark did not waste their chance to make their presence known. Read Full Review
This issue has a lot going for it, between a few great plots being set up and some absolutely gorgeous art. Fans should jump on board as the Witching War ramps up, as there definitely seem to be some twists, turns, and treats in store in future installments. Read Full Review
Anoither visually-arresting issue with a few gross-out panels worth seeing, but the story moves too slowly to be considered exciting. Let's just call it enthralling. Read Full Review
This issue hangs entirely on the slow build to one splash of spectacular body horror. That this standout moment is the B-plot of the issue (at best) speaks to how backwards this series' priorities have become. Read Full Review
Prelude:
Justice League Dark has been amazing so far and with the Witching War upon us, let's see how this all turns out.
The Good:
Circe is outmaneuvering the JLD at every turn. She's got her plan and she's executing it flawlessly.
Also love what Wonder Woman did with the magical items. She's the retaliation to Circe's plans but she can't keep up.
Loving what Nelson and Khalid are doing now. Still proving valuable to the team without Fate.
I got some real Immortal Hulk vibes from one panel. You know the one. Damn, that body horror was great.
Art was consistently great throughout as well.
The Bad:
Look above. Do you think there's problems in this?

I said it before I will say it again. One of the best books D.C is put on the shelves
This has by far been the most consistently enjoyable comic I have read all year.
Many comics have there high and low points but I can always count on Justice League Dark for a bone chillingly enjoyable comic.
Evil in the DC universe actually started when Krona tried to peer at the dawn of creation with his telescope, but that is forgivable. Dang this series is good.
Neat.
Alvaro Martinez is officially one of the best artists in the industry.
This was pretty good, I guess.

Am I supposed to know what's going on bc I have no clue. Everything just got ambigiously more bad for everyone in different ways and idk why.
Okay...this wasn't a great issue. Swampy getting nerfed like that really left a bad taste in my mouth. If you want a better look at how Swamp Thing might lose to Woodrue, read Charles Soule's incredible Swamp Thing run. As for the rest of this issue, meh, nothing really stood out for me. Just a lot of exposition again.
